29 January Today, went to my cousin’s hse at woodlands cuz she had just gave birth to a boy and is 1 mth old. This means I’m alr an aunty! Seems so old! (Currently, an aunty of two n still counting…) They ordered buffet and many relatives came. It’s like a family gathering, love the kind of warmth. It’s also been a long time since I saw my cousins so was really looking forward to it. The buffet was delicious (pineapple rice, dried chilli fried with sotong, man tou …. *drooling*), couldn’t help myself fr taking another serving. I also drank the gui jiu(chicken soup with wine) and zu jiao soup cooked by my aunt. Simply love it! The baby was so small, so fragile, had really soft skin, so CUTE! Hahaa… My cousin said giving birth was REAL PAIN! She’s afraid of giving birth to another one. Maybe becuz she had cesarean but I guess this is part and parcel of a woman’s life, most woman had to go through it. I can’t imagine those who had given birth to 6 or 10 over children, I think they are used to the pain alr. All of us had a great chat, aunties, uncles, cousins…… Later on, more n more ppl came, every family bringing their kids…… The whole hse is filled with many kids…… All of them are so cute, pretty n handsome. I remembered there was one lil boy only 9 mths old and he is VERY flexible. His father simply just carried his arms, bend both of his legs over the head and practically swing him. Oh my! Everyone was really stunned and all started laughing. Really amazing! When asked how he did it? His father said he will play with his son everyday, bend his legs and arms. Hahaaa!...... When he saw my mum taking a bowl of cocktail desert, he walked towards my mum and kept staring at both my mum n the bowl. So cute! He wants my mum to feed him. His dad said whenever he sees anyone with food he will follow. He doesn’t want to leave even if his parents are going off. He just sat there, waiting for my mum to feed him.
We went off ard evening, just remembered I have lots of work undone. I’ll be having French test on Monday and I haven started revising yet. Tml I’ll be gg to Sentosa (Sentosa Beach Party!) organized by the Primers and I’m one of the committee. Hope everything goes well!
30 January Woke up at 6.30am on a Sunday! I’ll probably still be sleeping like a pig if nt for the Sentosa Beach Party. All the committees have to be there early to get ready. I was supposed to meet them at 7.30am but I only reached at 8.15am (Woke up late! Sorry…). They had breakfast n I only had a museli bar, given by Huishan. Thanks! Reached Sentosa ard 9am and all of them started to come in grps. I had to mark attendance and it was quite messy as I had to keep a lookout n I’m nt sure of some of their names. There were many ppl abt 60 of them. All of them were divided into grps. We organized many games – Ice breaking (balloon fight & bird, water, stone), War game (attacker n defender, target, dog & bone), Captain’s Ball (water cum land) and last bt nt least Prize Giving & FORFEIT for the losing team! It was really fun! Although I did nt play much partly am the committee and partly thinking of my French test tml. *Worried* Dun wan to tire myself cuz I have to chiong tonight! Haven really been revising much. :p Good luck to me! Really want to thank everyone’s cooperation and hope all of u had lots of fun today! Everything kind of goes well. GIRL POWER! Yeah! Committees- Pamela, Felicia, Jialing, Joan, Yen Poh, Huishan and me!
After we washed up ard 6, Shan n me went to Siloso Beach, our fav place. Why? Because our New Zealand ice-cream is there! Hahaaa… Yup, went to eat NZ ice-cream agn! Cannot RESIST! Is just so TEMPTING! Finally, we found the billabong shop and saw lots of nice stuffs there BUT too bad we are broke. Took lots of pics! Then is home swt home…… (Act had to rush back and study……).
31 January Argh! Did nt finish my French test! Was still writing my compo when the teacher said time’s up! Argh! Guess I wrote less than 80 words, probably abt 50, I’ll be dead. But overall the paper was quite alright, lucky it’s some matching n there’s helping words. The compo is the hardest I guess. There were 4 parts – Matching of sentences, Fill in the blanks, Composition (80words) and Rearranging of sentences. Luckily, at the last min while I was doing my compo, I flipped to the back and saw the rearranging sentence qns! Phew! At least, I did it and probably I can score. Guess this was why I can’t finish my compo. Hmmm…… but nvm it’s all OVER! No point crying over spilled milk!......
