Yesterday's concert was superb! It was damn worth it! My sis & I regretted buying the cheapest tics which was 78 bucks. But anyway, it was all worthwhile... No regrets at all for a 3 hour concert of his! Tao Ze's voice was excellent! The stage was very nice, the backdrop was designed like a jungle with lots of leaves and branches. There was also a huge helicopter on it. It seems like the helicopter has just crashed into the jungle with the wing dropping off. Such a cool stage! He appeared on the stage by hanging fr the top and slowly descending down. Wearing all white like a Prince Charming. He started singing some of his old songs, followed by a few of his new album's songs. Sometimes he even change his own lyrics by mentioning the word 'Singapore'. His really damn cool! He was like saying how he wish he could see each n everyone in the stadium face to face and have some physical contact like shaking hands. He said maybe someday he would want to open a mini concert for like abt 100 audiences so that he can see everyone and get to shake everybody's hand. Instead like now, everyone is dispersed and the stadium is sooooooo huge. He is sooooo NICE! He then started singing and halfway through, everyone was quite surprised cuz he said: "I'm sorry... I'm gonna BREAK THE RULES!" And he started running down the stage, shaking everybody's hands. Of course, these were the people who bought the most expensive seats. All his fans who were actually seated down, rush forward to shake his hands. To be fair, he also went to the sides to shake the audience's hands. Though everyone went out of control, they still went back to their seats immediately when David went up to the stage. Oh my! He is such a NICE & TALENTED GUY! He is tt kind of guy when u hear him sing, u will melt immediately... Which I guess I have alr melted. There's this Singaporean girl named Kewei who is one of the background singers, sings really well! Some parts of the songs, she danced n sang duet with David. Her vocals were great! Envy her... The funny thing is her English name is Away and her surname is Tek I guess is the correct spelling... So her name will be Take Away??? :) At first, David thought she was bluffing him but it is really her real name... So cool! After he sang some of his own songs, he sang a FRENCH SONG! Marvellous! Followed by some unplucked songs and there comes the special part and is also one of my fav part of the concert... He sang some sentimental and oldies songs!!! Dancing Queen, Right here waiting and many many more... Love hearing him singing English songs, is just so soothing... :) He simply ROCKS MAN! The concert ends ard 11.15pm, more than 3 hours which is SooOoOo SoOoOoO WORTH IT! The last song he sang was a song he wrote himself but did not put into the album. He said this song is very meaningful. One of his friends nearly committed suicide but after hearing it, he did not commit suicide. So good! He saved a person's most precious life! Act he doesn't sing the song 'Melody' in his concerts or on any other variety shows becuz Melody doesn't really like and it might feel rather weird or awkward singing the song. Moreover, Melody is in the showbiz and she has alr broke off with David Tao. But still, he just sang the song because he heard tt Singaporeans like the song very much. I can't stand it! He's such a nice, filial and caring person! I'm already looking forward to his next concert!!!... Hahaa... tata~
