3rd - 4th DecMet Jl in e morning at Yew Tee mrt stn. I was a lil late cuz I was dragging myself out of the house as it was EARLY IN THE MORNING! Lucky I took a cab to YCK stn if not I will be damn late. Sorry just too early for me... Had Mac for breakfast, we takeaway n ate in the cab. Din know it was so fast when we reach Kranji Logistics Campsite. We could have walked if we know where's the place. The place was very BIG. After we met up with Shan, check into our so called "Hostel Rooms", we then head on to our respective areas which we are helping out. Both of us were helping out at the inline skating. Saw Sharon there blading, she then called us to join in n blade ard. We were rather slack cuz we do not really need to help out in anything accept for helping the boys to put on their guides n blades. It was in this very BIG carpark and so we just kept blading ard having fun. The ppl there were really nice and funny or I shd say rather LAME. They were from some blading schools n they came to teach the boys blading. Everyday they came with this big van and in it are all the diff sizes of blades stacked properly on the shelves. I bet u won't want to stay in there for more than 3 mins cuz it really stinks! All the diff people sweat from the diff blades but I guess they are used to it. After lunch, we then went back to our "hostel" to rest. We call it "Hostel" because it is like a twin bed room with cupboards beds n chairs... Can say tt this camp is the Slackiest camp I've been to.
BUT I must say tt this camp is really great cuz it only happens once every 5 years and everything is FREE! Every campers also get a goodie bag! Besides this you will get to learn a lot of things. We have alot of activities going on like Kayaking, Rock Wall, Pin Ball, Az-Ball, Rope Course, Inline Skating, Golf, Archery and some stn games. Ain't it FUN & ENRICHING? You can learn all these in just one week of camp! Definitely there's lots more to write abt this camp but I shan't type it all out cuz is nv ending and it will be too wordy... All in all CAMP TEMASEK IS ENRICHING! It is a good camp for those boys to grow and nurture. Lots of first time experience for them.
To all the officers, mentors, leaders and helpers: "Great Job Done!" And of course not forgetting the campers whom have made this camp possible: "Thank You very much for your active participation!"
