Woke up, bathe and checked my results immediately early in the morning... I deprove... :( Sad... Not satisfied... GPA dropped... First time getting a D... Gt a D+ for ICT but lucky din fail which I thought I will... GPA dropped by 0.1+... So much...! Faints... Think this sem is real tough for everyone to pull through... Though slought really hard but results still deprove really felt disappointed... Maybe cuz this sem is mostly based on projs tt's why more things to do... Anyway I somehow predicted too cuz I knew I din do well for the theory papers which will pull down everything... Gotta work harder for my FYP now as well as IAP which is coming, in abt 9 weeks time. Gotta hit my targeted pt which I think is slightly difficult... But I will try my best to push Up, Up, Up!
Another thing nw which left me in dilemma... Mr Patrick who's in charge of OIPP (Overseas attachment) just called me and asked me to consider gg France as the project we'll (me n another girl) be doing there is somehow related to my course... Oh man... Haiz~ I'm somehow tired of all these...
Initially, I applied for Hong Kong with three other friends, Samantha, Alan and Eugene... One of the company peeps came down to S'pore to interview us and so during Aug we met up and I showed my portfolio and everything... This is considered as the external interview... We'll be having a second interview with some NYP big shots... This is considered as the internal interview and is the final interview before they start selecting peeps... Nearing to the 2nd interview which I'm soooooo soooo looking forward to, I received a call fr Mr Mark Lee (another lecturer in charge), he said that Samantha suddenly withdraw due to some family problems. I was quite shocked as the final interview is coming in a few days time. He was telling me not to waste my time to go for the final interview as Samantha has withdrawn and the company will not allow one girl to go alone. I was like... Huh... totally lost... Kinda angry but at the same was thinking no choice cuz anything might happen and is not Samantha's fault cuz she doesn't want it to happen to... Mr Lee also said act the company has approved the four of us alr... The company wants 2 guys n 2 girls, 4 peeps... Just nice the four of us... The more he said the more I felt wasted... But no choice, opportunities just slipped away like tt... Felt really disappointed and wasted... As I'm nt very close to Samantha, I dun wanna ask her wat happened as I don't wanna interfere much though at the same time feeling angry... Mark Lee also felt very wasted for me, when he debrief me he told me a story he experienced with his friends and the outcome really shocked me... Have learnt some morales from him... His advices are really worth thinking and is kinda true abt some facts in real life... Applying for this OIPP tingi really taught me a lot through many interviews mainly the process... In another way, now Mr Patrick is trying to help me by giving me another alternative which is France...
The matter is to go or not to go? The whole trip to France cost abt $4000(accommodation, air ticket, food & expenses included) for 3 mths + the expenses there is double the price of sing + halfway through my driving license + can't bare to leave S'pore (family&friends) + quite last min + sudden (might be leaving ard Oct if selected) + alr gone through 3 weeks of FYP...... So many things to consider, shd i?
