Happy 19th Birthday!
Hope u like the surprise just now as well as the present we bought for ya...!
Had OIPP Interview last fri, it was a rather relax, casual chatting and asking of questions... There are three interviewers interviewing all six of us together and two of them kept asking questions, chat with us, tell us abt what we shd expect n see there while e other one kept quiet throughout! Guess he was probably observing us... Hmm... One of the interviewers was really humorous, I guess this was to prevent us from feeling tensed up or nervous... I like! It was very relax n casual talking, I guess of all the interviews I've gone this is the most relax one... can just speak anything u like n be open...
Questions like: "Why do u wanna go there?" And all of us started saying wanna expose to the different cultures there... Than one of the interviewers said: "All of u kept saying cultures, u know wat is our Singapore's culture?" Oooh... Everybody started popping out funny ans-Uniquely Singapore, Democracy, blah,blah... N one of the interviewers said : "DEMOCRACY!?, u know who are the ones who started democracy first? It was the French peeps... :) Have u all read the French revolutionaries?" Hahaa... And... One of them says once in awhile we shd hav parties with the diff international students there than cook some of our local food there... So he started asking each of us what can we cook? Hahaa... Maggie Mee, dunno how to cook were some of the ans... For my turn, I said: "Pasta and fried rice which I think is wat my sis usually cook for me... Hahaa..." The interviewer than said: "Pasta!? You wanna cook pasta for them? There is pasta everywhere..." Though they kind of shoot us back but we thought it was rather true, never thought of tt... I really never think before I speak... Overall, it was an interview filled with laughters, jokes, facts abt life, open-ended questions, a friendly n relax one... The only sad thing was they would only take in 4 peeps out of e 6 of us but Mr Mark Lee will try to ask the France side to take in 2 more which means letting all e 6 of us go!
Sis bought Durian Mooncake fr Emicakes! Since e first n last time we tasted e durian mooncake last yr, we were all in love with it!!! It's bing pi(soft skin) with paste inside! My family just loves durians so muccch... Yeah! Cheers to sis!!!
