3rd Dec-Sunday
Trip to the Louvre Museum & Opera National! Only e 6 of us today, we purposely chose this day to go to the Louvre cuz it's the first Sunday of the mth and it's free entry! Ahhh! Another plc which I've nv thought of gg, only thought I could see it in the movie... Hmmm... u all must be guessing wat is it? It's none other than the scene of the Da Vinci Code- the Pyramid! Another lucky day for us cuz when we reach, there was this big event gg on, there were lots of horses with jockeys riding on it... All of them from different countries, slowly gg into the gate of the Louvre Musuem... Once we step into the entrance of the Louvre, it was alr drizzling and the wind was very strong! Kailin & I nearly got blown off... Whahaaa... U can see a few peeps carrying umbrella and at some pt of time their umbrellas will get flipped up or gt blown off... So those who are carrying their umbrellas had to hold it very tightly! We then queued for the entrance to the Lourve Musuem... It was quite long but worth waiting... There were a few levels with divided into diff sections of artworks mainly paintings, sculptures, videos etc... We first went to see the sculpture section, it was works fr different Asian sculptors... Than we went to see the paintings section and in here photos are nt allowed esp with flash... Had alr been caught twice by 2 security guards and they gave me warnings, one of them were rather strict n kept wanting me to keep my camera in my bag before she allows me to go... It was rather embarrassing cuz she shouted loudly at me fr across a far end and everyone was looking... I was rather angry cuz I din use any flash to take photos! Knowing tt flashes harms or destroy the paintings so I dun like to use it too... Hmmm... Maybe because it’s copyrighted... Of course our main aim was to look for the original Mona Lisa painting!!! Cool! We found it! Though there were some barriers & security guards to keep a distance away fr the painting, there were still lots of peeps crowding ard the barrier waiting to catch a glimpse of the painting as well as secretly taking a pic of it... All the while I was with See Theng cuz we had lost the rest of them... And See Theng blocked me fr the security guards to let me take a pic of the painting of course without flash... I had to take a pic of this painting since I came all the way here... But too bad I was caught agn by the security guard... I was alr being very good by nt using any flash... The first time I took was rather blur so I dun care n try my luck another time, I purposely go to the back of a super tall guy to block me away fr those security guards but it failed... The security guard caught me agn and asked me to go off immediately... Lucky this time rd it was clearer than e first one but still quite blur... Whoa... really need skills to take e painting man, first, hav to prevent fr getting caught by the security guards, second to take a clear pic of the frontview of the painting... Act it is very easy to get caught by the security guard cuz once any camera pops up, it is rather obvious... Next, we went into this dark room filled with art works and diff videos showed on diff television screens... Together with e rest, Kailin than msged me to hav lunch together so we met up at the Mona Lisa painting there as it is a more significant plc... As it was quite ex eating inside, we went out of the Louvre Musuem n finally found a reasonable price eating plc which sells crepes n pancakes... I ordered a ham & formage(cheese in french) crepe, it's nt bad but can't be compared to the one we ate yesterday...! Aft lunch, we din go back to the Louvre cuz some of them were bored of looking at those paintings, anyway we can't complete the whole of the Louvre Musuem in a day, Sebastian said one must at least take abt 3 days to finish walking rd the whole Louvre Musuem... We then head on to the Opera house, didn't go inside cuz we dunno wat's in it n dun see a pt of gg in... Only took pictures fr the outside... til then~ Enjoy e pics...!!!

Great & Fun-filled Weekends!!!
2nd Dec-Saturday
Trip to Arc de Triomphe, Eiffel Tower & Cathedrale Notre-Dame with John & Sebastian (Polar Bear)! Had to really thank them for bringing us ard; John as our tour guide, explaining and telling us the significance and history of some buildings as we walk ard... PB for taking care of our safety and looking out for us, making sure tt none of us are left far behind or lost...

Early in the morning, we were all so excited as this is our first time gg down to Paris... All of us were like gg for a Fashion Show, we took a long time to decide wat to wear, helping one another to choose clothes, changing in & out of different overcoats, lending & borrowing fr each other before we finally step out of the hse... Hafiz & See Theng look like our boss & lady boss and e rest of us are like their secretary & right-hand man... Hahaa... Met up with John at Val d'europe stn to buy Paris tics and Sebas at Noisy Champ's stn before heading down to Paris...

Whoo! Once we step out of one of the metro stn in Paris, we all shouted happily… Looking at all the beautiful architecture of each buildings... It's just so cool... Can't believe I'm act here in Paris!!! Awww... Walking down along the streets, there was this Renault car exhibition gg on and it's free! So we went in and there were lots of diff kinds of sportscars and model trains fr the olden days... At the entrance, there’s this spaceship look alike car called Reinastella and it looks so comfy! Imagine having this on e road or in the sky, so cool!!! Our first destination was Arc de Triomphe, one of e famous monument in Paris to commemorate some of the bravery of the army soldiers... This monument is in a shape of an Arc, tt's partly why it's called Arc... We then head down for lunch at Creperie Du Manior Breton... Ooh... The crepes there are simply delicious!!! Can't resist every single one of them... First, I skipped the appetizer; I ordered the crepe meal named Forestire, it has sunny-side egg, mushrooms and chicken plus cheese in it... Yummy!!! Before tt we all start of drinking Cider, a kind of beer they usually drink with meals... Nice! I like it! It's been so long since I drank when I came here, can say this is my first beer in France! It tastes abit like Hoeggarden! Hmmm... I must buy this back to S'pore before I go back! Aft the meal it was desserts! Whoo... And I had pancake with bananas and chocolate paste plus whip cream which I put aside... Aft lunch, we head on to the Eiffel Tower and Cathedrale Notre-Dame Church! Once I saw the Eiffel Tower, I was stunned and can’t believe my eyes! Ahhhhhh!!! Nearly teared when I saw it cuz I hav nv thought of seeing it in my life, only see it in those eng drama serials on tv... Once agn, thanks Dad & Mum! We strolled our way to the bottom of the Eiffel Tower to check out the price to go up... There are 4 diff levels which we can go up... Of course, we wud all like to go up to the highest level which cost only 11 euros... The price is alright, nt as ex as I thought... In e end we din go up cuz the queue is too long n we hav nt much time left but we'll definitely come back agn for the Eiffel! As we were abt to leave gg towards the church, the Eiffel Tower suddenly light up!!! Ahhhh!!! It's so beautiful!!! It changes to different colours aft a few minutes and at one pt of time, it sparkles!!! Sebastian was saying we were very lucky today as we gt to see the Eiffel Tower light up cuz it only lights up during the night at 10pm... Though it starts to rain heavily and it’s super cold, all of us were still happily taking photos... We then quickly head on to the Cathedrale Church cuz John had to leave ard 6pm... The interior of the church is lovely, with those carvings on the walls & ceilings, at e same time there were mass gg on... We walked ard the church quietly and secretly taking photos cuz no photo taking allowed inside but I guess without flash it shd be fine... As we were abt to leave the church, the church bell rang! Cool! Normally it won't ring at this timing... Hmmm... I guess the bell rang for us! Hahaa... Our lucky day indeed…

28th Dec-Tuesday
Before the sun rises Kailin & I woke up and drag our feets to sch for meeting at 9am... We had to read through our notes and prepare questions so we planned to reach sch earlier ard 8,30am. It was so dark and the surrounding neigbourhood were so quiet... Ahhh wat a nice weather to be sleeping and still tug in bed at such hrs... Every Tues we will be having meeting at 9am so I foresee for the next few weeks we will be waking up early on Tues and leaving Mon & Sunday nights to do reports... It's a Tuesday! So Hafiz hav Rock Climbing aft sch at 6pm and as usual e rest of us will hav dinner in sch at 6.30pm while waiting for Hafiz to end his climbing at 8pm... Aft dinner, See Theng went to try climbing as well as playing e flying fox!!! Ahhh!! I wanted to try but it was too late... As I gt myself changed wanted to climb aft See Theng, all of them were starting to pack up as it was nearing 8pm... Saded whahaha... Nvm I MUST climb on Thurs! Can’t wait...

30th Dec-Thursday
Yeah it's Thursday! I said I must climb and indeed aft dinner we went to join Hafiz and I FINALLY gt to climb aft so many sayings!!! Have nt been climbing for such a long long time since my secondary sch when i first gt to learn rock climbing... Hafiz belayed me and the worst thing was nobody actually took photos for me while I'm climbing!!! Ahhh!!! Going to kill them! Aft I came down, I realized no one was holding camera, they were all staring at me climbing... They all said they were looking at me and forgt abt taking photos... Funny la... Hmmm... I guess they were all mesmerized by my climbing??? Hahaa... *shy* Nvm I still have lots of chance to climb & take photos every tues & thurs! Started taking a few shots of myself climbing aft tt as well as doing some bouldering and warm-up... This is my first time doing bouldering and I must say it was difficult... U have to have lots of strength and energy to pull urself up near to the wall and stretch out for the rocks as the wall is quite steep and slanted... Overall it was fun!!!

1st Dec-Friday
This morning Kailin & I overslept so we asked e rest to go sch first n we'll go sch separately n meet them for lunch str... Nowadays, Kailin & I kept getting up late, dunno why are we so tired or probably because we love to sleep n laze ard in bed too much! We are the only 2 who always sleep til late during the weekends as for e rest they will sure to wake up before 12 or 1pm... Hahaa... Of course! Can sleep dun wanna sleep wake up so early for wat rite? Hmmm... but if it's during the weekdays it's partly my fault to oversleep cuz I'll be getting up first to bathe before waking Kailin up... So if I dun wake up, both of us will be sleeping like pigs! I like today's lunch! Though it's nothing special, I love the fried potato balls especially dipped with the black pepper sauce (my fav sauce I can’t do without since there’s no chilli here) and truffles for dessert! Nearing to the end of the meal, I was rather full but there's still quite a few potato balls left, I just can't help myself fr popping it into my mouth as I felt it was quite a waste to throw it away...

Aft sch, we had to head on to Val d'europe supermarche which is known as Auchan, near our residence, to replenish our food as well as some groceries... Of course none other than my bread :D Whee!!!

Happy 23rd Anniversary to the both of you!!! Thanks alot for the guidance, advises, discipline and everything tt you've given us... If not for all these, i won't be who i am today... Can't celebrate this year's anniversary with u all but i guess Sis had plan to give u all a treat... Enjoy the meal! Sad... I won't be there eating all those yummy food!!! But when i'm back, i'll rush to all the S'pore's delicacies!!! Missing all of the food sooooooo mucccchhhhh... Once agn, thanks for giving me this opportunity to come France! If not i won't be where i am today... Both of you have always been giving sis n me the best of everything... I dun think we can repay how much u've given us cuz it's too much... Thurs-23rd Nov
It's CCA day! So normally during this day students in ESIEE are allowed to "skip classes" to play games or sign up for extra curricular activities... Today, we only use the com for like a few hrs and e rest of e day is games day... 9.30-12pm-> project/12-1pm->lunch/ 1-5.30pm-> Play! Since Mon, Aurelien & John had alr asked us if we want to play games in their club room cuz it's like a Club Crawl/Cca day on thurs. So almost the whole day we were playing games!!! Jungle Speed! We are addicted!!! We even borrowed the game fr John for the weekend cuz he has one at his hse. I din knw abt Jungle Speed until I saw it and I remembered playing it at Minds Cafe with Becca, Frederick, Xin, Ave & Doreen on Becca's bday. It's fun and thrilling! Hahaaa... We played Jungle Speed, a game which is somehow like police n thieves but forgot what is it called as well as CitaVelles- (some mystery card games which has King, Assassin, Robber, Sorcerer, Bishop, Warlord, Architect or Artist as an occupation, so each time u can pick an occupation u want and each occupation are assigned to do a task)

Fri-24th Nov
Oopsss it's 8.30am and we are suppose to leave for sch now but we are still in bed! Luckily Benny knocked our door, if not both of us will be sleeping throughout the day... So we asked e 4 of them to leave first without us cuz their supervisor is quite strict and checked on them everyday. As for ours we can go sch anytime! Hahaa... Professor Denis Bureau doesn't check on us everyday, only through emails and on meetings every tues morning @ 9am. Tt's the good thing for us. Both of our first time gg to sch without the other 4... In e noon, Aurelien came and he was wearing a special coat which is Very Thick and he says it's good for cold weather... It looks like a vampire or superman coat to me and as usual we took lots of photos together with John who came later~

Sat-25th Nov
Went to the laundry in e morning before heading down to Noisy le Grand for some shopping... While waiting for 45 mins of washing and 30 mins to spin dry our clothes in the machines, we made full use of our time by slacking ard at the reception area, sleeping, watching tv, playing piano and See Theng & I were having fun playing table tennis Outdoor despite the cold weather!!! Hahaa... After all, it was nt tt cold unless Wind comes...

Noisy le Grand is just two stops away from our sch Noisy Champs and 7 stops away fr our residence area, Val de'Europe... It's a big shopping mall where u can't shop in a day cuz almost all the shops is like Forever21 or Topshop kind... Whoo~ I can say some things are even cheaper than S'pore, reasonable price or same price as Sing. Did I mention some of the zara clothes here like mini demin skirts are cheaper than Sing's one? Saw a track pants fr zara kids which I bought fr Sing, exactly the same design, it only sells @ 7.90 euros which is abt S$16 and I bought it for S$29.90 back in Sing! How can this be?? Ah!!! I can save like 14 bucks la! Gosh, I will look ard more for cheap stuffs!!! Hmmm, nt bad at least I can get to shop here cuz previously I thought, I won't get to shop for my 3 mths stay in France as e things here are expensive, double the price of S'pore but nah it was nt as bad as I thought... I can still get cheap stuffs!!! :)

Most of e time, See Theng & I were e ones doing shopping so we both separated with e rest and decided on a time to meet them up aft tt... For lunch, we ate our 1st MacDonalds in France!!! Had been craving for it soooo much... The serving were the same as S'pore but the price is double! So, I think Sing's Mac is better, e fries taste better and curry sauce tastes so much nicer! Their chilli sauce were replace by curry sauce... Ahhhhhh!!! I miss ABC chilli sauce so muchhhh, dying for chillies man! Not a single chilli here!!! I'm one who can't leave without chilli but I'm still surviving~ Cuz in France, their Mayonnaise and Mustard have wasabi in it, plus in school there is blackpepper and tobasco, so at least something spicy... Though they sell dried or cut chillies here but it's rather rare, only found in certain groceries store. I'm falling sick~

Sun-26th Nov
Din go anywhere today, we planned not to though it's a Sunday!!! Cuz we have lots of work to do... Kailin & I had to do lots of read up, research, make notes and hand in report by 5pm tml. The rest of them had lots of read up to do too! So we decided to stay home and go to the supermarket in e night. While Hafiz is having lots of fun with his new rock climbing friend, Fabrice. We all knew one another cuz his the ex-captain of the rock climbing club plus he caught our eyes during the first day when Hafiz went to join rock climbing. Hahaaa... Hafiz went to join him for rock climbing session at some Big rock climbing indoor place near Paris. He went for the whole day til late evening and he has muscle aches everywhere...

Din get to go to the supermarket cuz we heard fr the security guard tt supermarkets doesn't open on Sundays, most of the shops will be close... So alr changed and prepared to go us, we loitered ard the guardhse, chatting with the security as well as his friend there... His friend, Michael, always come on Sunday to the guardhse to chat, at the same time bring his two black dogs ard for a walk... So as usual we get excited easily and once we saw the dogs, we are in love with them esp the small one! Both of them were very Hyper! The big black one is quite scary as it will always nibble and smell you, e best thing is that its tail is powerful! Once it turns ard and its tail accidentally hits/wag you, it's painful!!!

In the night, Benny planned to cooked pasta for all of us as we were all very tired aft studying e whole day as well as Hafiz who has just came back fr his Rock Climbing... Thanks Benny! It's sch agn tml~ I dread it but I like it too cuz can see lots of ppl...! Til then~

Week 2 - PartI

Tuesday-21st Nov
Meeting at 10am with our supervisors... Met up with another supervisor of ours, Pr Douin... His a programmer who program the whole of our current project... He briefed us on our project, all the codes and everything as the softwares they used here are different fr ours... At least nw Kailin and me somehow knw wat we are supposed to do compared to last week when we are totally lost and thought otherwise. During the night, ard 6.30pm, Hafiz wants to go for rock climbing cuz he heard there's training today so we accompanied him... Dun play play ar, this guy here is a rock climber back in NYP... Ex Chairman of the Adventure Club... His like spiderman i wud say... Even better than some of those students there climbing... Cool! He has gt a few compliments! Kailin did some rock climbing too! I so wanna climb but sadly I'm nt in a right attire tt day. Nvm some other time then, I guess Hafiz will be joining rock climbing n gg for training every tues n thurs... So it means I hav lots of tues n thurs to climb...

On e way back in e night, it was freezing cold!!! Once the wind BlOwS n tt's it, moreover I din wear thermal so the wind blows through my jeans!!! Waiting for the bus is like eternity... Shivers~ Benny just told us tt e weather for today is 3-7 degree Celsius! I guess tt time was 3 degree Celsius!

Wed-22nd Nov
On e way to sch, Kailin & I dropped by the supermarket n groceries stalls near our sch to look for foolscap papers to write our notes cuz we are really in need of papers... While the other 4, head on to sch first... Went in to a small bookshop but those notebooks they selling are all graph papers with lots of tiny squares, we just couldn't find any plain paper n each book cost 3.50 euro which is 7 bucks... Tt's very ex so we decided to steal those rough n plain papers fr our lab instead... Hahaaa...

On our way back to sch, we can't resist n picked up lots of beautiful colored (red, yellow, brown) maple leaves fr the floor... It's so funny n weird picking up leaves fr the floor la... It can be quite embarrassing as tt area is near the train stn so at any pt of time there will be lots of ppl walking pass and they must be thinking why wud we wanna pick those wet maple leaves fr the floor??? They can see it everyday n is just normal leaves to them. At first, we hide ourselves behind e bushes when there's lots of peeps coming out fr the stn. Then cont picking when there's lesser peeps ard... Whew it's kinda funny but aft sometime we just dun care n throw face ba... There's this passerby walking pass n he was like staring at me n smiling, so embarrassing man... There's also a lady walking pass, laughing at kailin... Hahaaaa... We really dun care just laughing n cont picking our maple leaves... It's like where can u find such beautiful maple leaves in S'pore???

Collected those maple leaves n nw the prob is how r we gg to take into the sch? Everyone will sure laugh at us. So we decided to keep our leaves in the zip log bag where I used to put all my cables as well as the forever 21 bag which I put my umbrella. We smuggled in, holding these bags n covering it with our scarfs, walked str to our lab. Since we picked so much, we planned to write a msg on the maple leaves for each of the four others...

Went EURO DISNEY today!!! It was great though we din get to go in but just walking ard the outside is good enough! Didn't spend a single cent today, just snapping photos non-stop! The entrance fees are super ex! Adult-54 euros which means S$108!!! It's crazy!!! Cuz we intend to go Park Asterix which is somehow like Disney but with lots of rides like roller coasters n everything... Introduced by our French teacher back in Sing, Christopher Mallard... So we decided to save up n go there instead... Hmmm we'll see how things goes, probably if we hav e money during the last few weeks, we might be gg in!!! Hahaaa...!!! I shall nt say more but let the pics do the talking... Loads of pics n beware!!!

Oh ya! I din mention tt yest morning we were an hr late for sch cuz e train suddenly stops and is nt working temporary... At first when we were in the stn, we heard lots of announcements but we couldn't get anything cuz they were announcing in French... We were kinda lost n just follow everyone... Everyone than started to walk over to the opp side n take e train so we followed n Benny heard tt e train was to Paris so we went halfway into e opp train n I said is better nt to take cuz we might nt knw where this train goes to... We started asking the train stn workers n they told us the train is nw nt functioning temporary, there will be shuttle bus to send us to those train stn places... It will come ard 9.45am n our sch starts at 10am! We waited n waited for abt 45 mins under the cold weather til abt 10am but there's no shuttle bus to be seen gg to our sch nearby... We are also nt sure of the buses tt goes to our sch there... In e end, the train starts working n we took e train in e end... Reached sch ard 10.30/45am... Today, we then realized tt there were act riots gg on ard Chessy area, tt's partly why e train stops too... John told See Theng yest...

Whahaa... Yest night aft dinner ard 9pm, once kailin & me went back to our room, I practically lied on my bed n ask Kailin if I can dun bathe n just sleep through the night... Hahaa! N lying on her bed too, she then gave me a VERY Good ans- "Sleep lor... ok why not we sleep for 2 hours n we'll wake up, bathe & wash e dishes?" I was like whoa u are asking me to sleep for 2 hrs, I dun think I will wake up alr... I'll be in my dreamland til e next morning... So I asked her if she wud be willing to wake up meh? Than she said yes if she hav things to do she will wake up... So she said ok then we sleep til sunrise n wake up to see the sunrise... Soooo, so, so we slept n in e end we slept til e next morning ard 7... Hahaaa... Act I was awake ard 6 plus, I remembered hearing Hafiz, Yan ling & See Theng voice, they just came back fr the Gala ESIEE party n I look at the time it was 6.35am... Hahaa... we slept with our clothes on without bathing n I was sleeping with my contacts on too... Imagine how tired we are...

So we woke up early, prepared, wash up n e three us planned to hav a walk ard in the neighbourhood leaving e three party peeps to bed :) Left a note for Hafiz... Than as usual we go ard taking lotsssa pics like having our own photoshoot... Lots of nice scenery to act as backdrop... Hahaa... Walked til ard 11am, went back to our residence n we waited for e three peeps to prepare before heading out for some shopping n supermarket to buy some groceries & replenish our following week's food... We usually cook dinners during weekdays and our lunch is always in sch, for some of the weekend's dinner we cook too... So nw, cooking for me is like an everyday routine, can't be lazy anymore... Hahaa... Cooked fried rice today, quite a big bowl so is enough for everyone to try n everybody says it's nice!!! Cool~ My first time cooking each meal like pasta yest n today fried rice... Whoo and it turn out really good! So proud of myself! FIFI cum sister! I did it!!! Look at the photos! Hahaa will cook for u when I'm back in sing k? :) But u must wash up... whahahaa... Til then~

1st & 2nd Day @ Sch - ESIEE

Fr my residence to sch is abt 45 mins... Have to take a bus which is bus 34 to a nearby train stn called Val De'rope n to e train stn near our sch-ESIEE Uni called Noisy-Champs... e train ride is abt 20 mins... n a short walk fr e train stn to sch abt 5 mins or less... Pretty convenient I wud say... The sch is rather small with only 1 canteen & 1 cafeteria but I love the environment! Hafiz, Benny, Yanleng & Si Ting were under the same supervisor n in e same lab cuz they are dealing with embedded stuffs while kailin & me were under another supervisor at e next block's lab. Our block is Informatique & theirs is under automation. Was suppose to meet another professor @ 4.30pm today for some briefing but our supervisor sent us an email n we did nt see it. It's in our sch's email n so we explained to him we are nt sure of how to check our sch's email, he was understanding n kind enough n taught us. So we saw e email n it was postpone to next tues at 10am. But he typed out a few questions in e mail n want us to ans asap. Looking at those questions really stressed us... Cuz those questions were like how much u knw abt Java... A little, some, a lot or nt at all??? There are lots of questions he asked related to programming stuffs n we were quite LOST as in dunno how to go abt answering them. We took a long time to figure out wat his asking as well as answering e questions honestly n aft tt we need to meet him at his office agn...

It was alr reaching 6pm n e rest of them were packing up ready to go back, 4 of them came to our lab cuz we were still typing out e ans to him. Si Theng n Yanleng than asked us if we wud wanna go for the Gala ESIEE (Biggest Party every yr in ESIEE) held tonight fr 9pm-6am... It was really a big event n everyone was busy preparing even when we reached during our first day of sch. Aft getting all these questions fr our supervisor, it really made us moodless n lost, moreover we were very tired n we told them we shall missed it. Though we hav gt to pay 24 euros per person, I think it's a good experience n opportunity to get to knw everyone in sch n party through e night but too bad we hav no mood n we hav gt to missed it. Aft getting some sort of interview or question & ans fr our supervisor, we were really lost. We were told tt our project goal is to program a too out!!! Oh my! A tool is like a program, ex: Visual C++, Visual Basic... How are we gg to program a tool out? Is like inventing a new programming software? Tt's really impossible for us to do it... Both of us almost cried out n lost while on e way back... All 6 of us went back ard 7pm & looking at our expression, e four of them were worried for e both us... Sorry if we scared all of ya but seriously we were nt in a good mood tt night. Benny didn't go for e party too only Si Theng, Yanleng & Hafiz went... So e three of them went back to sch agn ard 9pm with drinks n food provided n e three of us Benny, Kailin & me stayed in our residence n I cooked pasta for e three of us!!! Whahaa my first time cooking, Hafiz tasted it n he said it was NICE! :) I cooked too much so I gave him a plate n he finish all up... He really eats a lot, before tt he has alr ate a bowl of Maggie mee! E three of us ate in Benny's room n we chatted n chatted til we were super sleepy... Wanted to go Chessy Gares where Euro Disney is aft dinner but e three of us couldn't make it... Kailin & I went back to our rooms n we immediately dozed off on our beds n slept til e next morning... Whahahaa... Story continues in e next entry...

John & Aurelien came to our residence to teach us n send us to school... Walked fr our Residence to e train stn, it was quite far i wud say but quite fast as we kept chatting on our way... Act there's a bus to the stn which is just 3 stops only but we intend to walk there cuz we r nt sure wat time e train arrives. Left ard 8.30am, sch starts @ 10am til abt 4/5pm... Depends... But we intend to stay til 6pm everyday to use the internet access! The time difference between Sing & France is 7 hrs. France is 7 hrs behind Sing... So peeps, i'll be online fr 5pm-1am for Sing time... Hope i can get to see all of u on MSN k! :D I'm doing fine, how abt u guys back in Sing?

Got to knw two guys fr Shanghai who have been studying @ ESIEE for a year, this is their last yr, specialize in engineering stuffs n their graduating soon... Met them @ e train stn, they were John's friends n it was so coincidence tt they live in e same apartment as us but diff blocks... Reached ESIEE together n we went on our separate ways... Went to do some admin stuffs n we gt our ESIEE student card which means we are officially an ESIEE student! Whee, with this card we can buy food fr the canteen/cafeteria @ student price... During lunch, lucky we met Jialei, one of the China student n he taught us how to order our food as well as make payment... Thanks to him cuz the cashier charged me for 2 meals n he helped me to get my money back... He is one smart guy, though his French is just alright but he can understand n communicate with them. Cool! Tt's alr very good compared to us! Thanks Jialei for helping us out with e configuration of our laptops too! :D Ate butter rice with hashbrown cum chicken meat, lemonade & coffee pudding for dessert. Nt bad which cost only 3 plus euros...

Left the sch 5 plus 6 and it was extremely dark outside seems like it's alr 9 plus 10 in Sing... Took e train & a bus back to our residence n we all decided to cook dinner. Each room cooked a meal for 2 and we had some sort of a pork lark in Hafiz & Benny's room. Kailin & me cooked pizza, See Theng & Yanleng cooked pasta and Hafiz & Benny had their own dishes. Hafiz cooked some potatoes with carrots, chicken n vegi while Benny's one was wedges with sausages. YUMMY! We chatted, lame ard, asked some IQ questions, jokes, played silly games... Damn funny n our punishment is eating cheese! Not normal cheese but thick n smelly cheese. I wouldn't say smelly but the cheese smell is super strong kind where u wud vomit when u consume a lot. French peeps love to eat cheese a lot n they drink wine like water... More pics up in the next entry... Bye for nw...

Had dinner with my family, godparents n 5th Aunt to celebrate Godpa's as well as 5th Aunt's bday... Went to the Thai cum Chinese Restaurant @ Sembawang Shopping Centre... It's e same plc we went with my other uncles n aunties e other time at Yishun but nw at diff outlet... As usual the food were fast n good though we ordered almost the same dishes we had e other time... Love the pineapple rice! :D It was a rather fast dinner once we finished, no time to chat n chill cuz many peeps are waiting outside...

After which we head on to my godbro's condo @ Simei called Savanna! He just bought this condo, staying alone n is nw in KL on a business trip... Just renovated his hse... Still rem 3 yrs back there's this advertisement on this condo with a safari theme...?? It is Savanna! :D Both godma n godpa brought us round the whole condo first before we go up and nonetheless we were all amazed by the structure, the landscapes and the facilities of the condo... Lots of animals structures, like gg into a safari but nt real animals... The pool side is great which makes u feels like u are on a holiday in a resort with all the wooden benches n they hav a platform in the middle of the pool... 7 barbecue pits n some pits hav a long dining table, good for family gatherings... Some of the barbecue pits are rounded like those we seen in e Taiwan Series show, where they like to sit round the pit, barbecue n chit chat... Cool! The gym is well equipped with all brand new equipments, once I stepped in, I can smell the brand new smell and it makes me feel refreshing when doing workout in there. The best part is yet to come and this is the first time I heard of this in a condo... Bowling! Yes it's bowling; there are two bowling alleys for the residents there to play... You can book n rent ur shoes there, is all self service... They hav function rooms as well as karaoke rooms too! Me n my sis were looking ard n both of us were WOWing all the way since my dad had drive into the condo... Looking up at all the diff blocks of condos, we can see many diff interior designs of each hse and NOT ONE of them doesn't hav a LCD Plasma TV... U can surely see every hse owning an LCD Plasma tv... Me n my sis were saying if we hav a hse here, we would definitely be staying home everyday and just ask our friends to chill out here... After looking at all these, my sis n I started deciding or plan tt we shd buy a condo in the near future which I had act thought of it since young cuz I love to stay in a condo... With all these facilities we can dun bother to go all e way out for entertainment n exercise...

The best part is the hse itself... Oh man! Once both my sis & I stepped into the hse, we stared at each other blankly n we hav gt nothing to say cuz the interior of e hse is just GREAT!... The curtains, walls, furniture hav it's own unique design... As usual the every household LCD Plasma TV, the three seater arm & leg rest sofa(imagine 3 Osim chairs joined together but without massaging purposes), floral stickers... He designed most of the interiors n everything, as in he draws out wat he wants n asked an interior designer to make it... Was told tt he asked the designer to repaint the walls over n over agn once he is nt satisfied but in e end it was replaced by wall papers... Those wallpapers are really nice n I like it! Was telling sis tt who marries my godbro will definitely be 1 lucky gal! :D I'm nt done yet! The master bedroom! Whoo... It's so COSY~ Super thick dark purple curtains with a gold organza curtain behind acting as a second layer to prevent sun fr shining into e rm in e morning, long mirrors at the two sides of the bed with downlights shining fr top n bottom, low bed with thick comforters... The whole seems like a sound proof room alr... Having this room think I will sleep the whole day MAN! For a pig like me, I'm sure everyone will aft seeing it~ A flower poster hanging at the side of the wall, WALK-IN WARDROBE which leads to the toilet, overlooking at other blocks, a SUNKEN bath tub where u hav to walk down a few steps to bathe, the shower is a round one where there are lots of holes, once the strong water sprays onto ur body, it gives u a massage feeling... I guess I shall stop saying cuz words can't describe everything, seeing it with ur eyes is the best! Awwww... Indescribable!

Happy Halloween!!!

Exactly 2 more weeks n I'm leaving! Counting down the days~ I dread most butttt I'm also excited... Oh man! I can imagine the scene at the airport when leaving on the 14th... I will definitely cry or maybe just tear~ Thinking of this, nowadays when I'm usually alone on e way to sch or on the way to anywhere, I'll just think abt it, can't help n just tear immediately... Leaving all my family n friends to such a farrrr away plc, though for only 2 1/2 mths but still I'll miss the closeness n bonds with them... Ahhhh... Nvm 2 1/2 mths will be fast nt as if it's 2 years... I wanna enjoy, hav fun and most importantly learn ALOT of things during this OIPP trip... At e same time, leaving for a period of time, away fr Singapore is good... I can stop worrying abt this n tt, totally forget abt some other things n maybe when I come back, I will hav a clear mind n concentrate better on the things I do...

Celebrate Pear's Bday

Celebrated Pear's bday in advanced... Went pizza hut together with Jl, Francis, Abdul n of course Pear n Baoquan... Ordered Hawaiian & Veggie Lovers for Pear... The 2 set meals were meant for 8 peeps while only 5 were eating but still we managed to finish all up! Of course with the help of Baoquan & Francis :) Abdul came later and managed to catch up... Haven been seeing him for ages!!! Still the same as lame, only difference is his head was shaved cuz of NS... We were super full, chatted for quite sometime n couldn't sit any longer as our stomachs are bloated... Doreen & Marshall were no where to be seen though they said they are coming... In e end, separated fr them, went off to spotlight to check out the threads for my scarf cuz Sis is doing a scarf for me for my France trip! Yeppie! Hope she can do it on time... *pray hard* After which, went back home n on e way down to NEL, finally saw Doreen... A hi & bye n off I went~

On the way back, in NEL, I noticed sitting beside me was this Malay guy without a right ear... He only have his left ear... Dunno wat had happened, I thought a lot and felt tt am really fortunate... I was still listening to my mp3 with both ear plugs into my ears... Come to think of it we shd appreciate the things given to us... God gave us 6 senses, head, body arms, legs, the complete part of a human being... We shd ought to be grateful n nt complain abt this n that... Whether if our nose shd be sharper, eyes bigger, jaw bone shaper... All these are unnecessary, gg for plastic surgery is just a waste of money n time unless one is disfigured... If one is normal, wat for do all these? Compare to others, we are really very fortunate and e more we shd appreciate the things, e people ard us n complain less... He looks normal but a pity without a right ear... If he didn't sit beside me, I wouldn't hav notice anything...

If u guys realize, my recent entries were all starting with Aft FYP blah blah blah... Am always gg out aft FYP cuz this is the only time I hav besides the weekends when sometimes I hav to stay home with my family... Got to treasure the days left counting down til the day I leave on 14th Nov... Nt much time left though... Therefore, today aft FYP, I'm so glad I gotta hav dinner with my family... Dad reserved a table for us to eat the famous Claypot rice at Geylang... Whoo delicious! Dad came to fetch me than went to fetch both Mum n sis whose alr @ Mum's office aft her work... It was so rare that sis gt to end work on time today if nt she will always be working overtime...

Sometimes I ponder~ If gg France was a good choice for me n my family... Am I wasting a huge sum of their money? Shd I just stay in Sing so that they can save up this large sum of money n spend it on more worthy things than this trip for me... Am so glad to hav such parents... I ought to thank God for giving me such wonderful parents... Sometimes I do feel guilty as to keep spending their money... They always save up n spend on both my sis n me... Thanks Dad & Mom, I love you... Dun worry I'll take care of myself n made this trip a fulfilling experience for myself, learnt as many things as possible...

Met Sis aft FYP for dinner n a lil shopping~ Went Marina Sq to collect Aaron's Ed Hardy cap fr Ryan who's working @ SKIN. Aaron hav to thank me n he owe me a treat! Cuz through me he can than get discount fr Ryan... Though a lil discount only, still counted a lot for their pricey stuffs... Better than none rite? His really into Ed Hardy caps I muz say... Bought 2! But one for his friend... Rich man! Gt to catch up with Ryan a lil only as it's nt very convenient cuz his working... Told him abt my France trip n he was kinda shock as in why so sudden... :) Went Yoshinoya to hav dinner, planned to hav a budget one than followed by GOOD desserts... Always enjoyed outing with sis... Aft dinner, she brought me to this restaurant called Ministry of Food! Is like a jap restaurant and they serve great desserts! Desserts u hav never eaten before... They are famous for their red bean paste... Most of their desserts hav red bean or red bean paste in it with tang yuan which made us more full cuz of the starch... Both of us ordered 2 desserts which cost 6 bucks each... Sis always introduce me new things, I like! New n good food which I dun think I'll managed to find cuz I'm always blinded by all these things... We were SUPER FULL by the time we hav our desserts... Left a lil n we couldn't finish it... It is full til u can't even walk properly kind n sitting down just makes u wanna pulk... Think we ate too full alr... Hahaa... It was home sweet home then~

Chilling out!

This morning dad fetched me to sch... He & Mum was on leave today, gg for a date I guess??? Hahaa... They went down n paid air tics for me which hav alr been reserved... So tt means air tickets bought!

Aft FYP, went to meet Doreen & Karin for dinner... We went to this Hong Kong Xiao Chi @ Kovan... I ordered some cheese pork pasta, Karin ordered some spicy chicken mee stuff which looks n taste like maggi mee butttt its so much better compared to mine cuz after a few spoons I felt sick of it... Think cuz of the cheese... While Doreen had her dinner so she just ordered some tim sums n shared with us... Despite her saying tt she's full, she kept ordering more Tim Sums + desserts for us to share... In the end, all 3 of us were super duper full! I can't finish my sick pasta n left with a lil pastries which we managed to da bao in the end... But I must say their desserts are good! Later on the bill came n it was like a shocking price of 50 plus i think or more... We happily ordered n here comes the bill but anyway is alright as long as it fulfilled us n it really DID!

Aft which, we went to meet Xin & Ian to chill out @ Grapevine near Serangoon Shopping Centre... Really great plc to chill out with friends during weekend or any other night... They hav a smoking & non smoking room where the smoking room has a pool table n anyone can just pay n play there... Very relax... Xin & Ian finished up our pastries & at e same time, Karin showed us her Thailand trip photos...! Oh I miss Bangkok so so much! Chatuchak! Wait for me before u all close down! Went to Wang Lee Hom's concert... It was FANTASTIC!!! The music, sound system are great! All I can say it's POWERFUL! I enjoyed a lot with Yimei... This was the first time gg for a concert with her... We 2 crazy girls love to gossip n talk abt the media entertainment stuffs esp on Yu Le Bai Fen Bai... Finally, we get to go to a concert whom we admire as an idol! Really enjoyed her company, I nv regret :D

After Lee Hom's concert went to play Mahjong at Doreen's plc... It was kind of a last min thing... Planned to stay over n play at her hse on Mon night cuz Tues is a public hols but she n Becca gt to work at Km8 where they just gotten their job there... So postpone til tonight together with Jialing, Becca & Frederick... Still managed to find khakis to play... At first was in a dilemma whether to go anot cuz I've been gg out almost everyday n haven gt a proper long talk with my parents moreover I hav poster to do... Lucky I brought my hard disk along so in the end I went n managed to do some research abt the poster at her plc before I play... Jl took over me first before I start to play at 3 and she went back her hse to sleep... We started playing with money n tt really kept us awake n concentrate... At first, I'm no win, no lose but in e end I managed to earn 5 bucks...! Cool! N hey peeps, where's my 5 bucks? Ton til the next morning ard 9 plus before we left... Thinking whether to go sentosa for a tan but in e end din go...

These few days was rather stress with my proj as Mr Foo wants me to change the whole template of my proj n I hav no inspirations at all... Nt sure if he wants a formal or informal one cuz if I do I'll prefer informal but this is some sort of like e-learning website, it cant be too informal though, moreover, I'm doing phase 3 and if I change the template, everything will be messed up n I dun wanna redo everything agn!? It will be a killer n I will go bongus with all the database everything done nicely... It's all in ASP n VB Scripts coding which I hate the most... I've gone through it, during yr 2, having tt module in one of the sem, doing ASP projects is a killer... Tt period, I hav nt been sleeping, eating well or rather nt ate for 3 consecutive days... Shag~ Haven been seeing Mr Foo for a few days to check on my progress, he will always come up to me instead of me looking for him. Tt's becuz I haven finish my work n I'm nt satisfied with it! I'm more of a perfectionist to a certain extent... Sometimes I'll feel guilty but can't help when I hav nothing much to show him, I dislike... Furthermore, these few days I kept gg for briefings, having French lessons, seminar, hardly hav time to do my proj... Wanted to do at home but once I start, I'll feel sleepy n slowly dozing off in front of the com or lappy... Too tired as I'm facing the com everyday fr 8.30-6pm... My eyes are pain... In the end, only did a lil...

Rayn was super Stress tt day too! She was worst than me... Why does these three students Qizhi, Rayn & me feeling so stressed up under Mr Foo??? Mr Foo hav lots of things to do n his a super busy guy, once his stressed up, all 3 of us starts to get stressed up too... Rayn was totally lost n she's like some zombie, very blur, stoning n walking ard everywhere... It's really scary to see her like this... I'm very worried... I guess besides projects, she has some other probs too n I dun dare to ask much... I guess abt relationships... Cuz when I ask her a question, she doesn't ans me but just kept staring at me... Super scary~ Her soul is like nt with her... There's a pt of time when I wanted to hav a talk with her telling her abt my probs, asking her if she knew abt tt piece of paper but she kept quiet... Than I went to collect something fr my friend and once I came up it starts to drizzle and she's still sitting outside at the roof terrace... I asked her to get in the lab but she dun wan, instead she passed me her spects n her jacket n just sat there, asking me to go away~ I'm super worried for her tt she will do something silly or wat, felt like crying out... When I went for a short break, walking along the opp block, I suddenly heard someone screaming VERY LOUDLY! I quickly look out everywhere, first thing was my block's roof terrace... The next thing I saw was Rayn shouting out LOUD, venting all her stress, anger, fears, worries, sadness I guess... Is a good way but seems scary when doing it in sch... Buuuttt if it really makes her feel better is good for her and I guess it did...

*Girl, u really scares me... I'm super worried for ya tt period... But hope u'll feel better nw... It's no pt making urself miserable if it's for relationship stuff... I knw I'm nt in ur shoes n I dunno anything but just wanna tell ya tt it's nt worth it... It will only hurt u more each day*

In the morning, was volunteered or rather nominated to attend a Microsoft Seminar at Marina Boulevard... Met Ester, Weili & Za str @ Raffles Stn at 8.30am... Surprisingly, Ester n I was the first two to reach and I was the first one! Amazing us! Cuz we both thought we will be late n better be punctual n nt let Weili n Za wait... Great mind thinks alike :) In the end both of them were late n we even managed to hav our breakfast at POLAR inside Raffles Link... Chicken Pies n some pastries... Yummy~ The talk was interesting, humorous, educational... Overall great! Cuz all the speakers speak SUPER WELL! Their English are damn powerful! Is like those recorded voice u hear on tv or rather Channel News Asia kind... All Chi speakers with a unique accent bet they hav gone abroad to study before... Once they speak, u will want to hear more n concentrate on wat they are talking abt... Soothing voice I wud say... But somehow Ester n I was feeling sleepy maybe cuz it's early in the morning n at the later part we nearly doze off... The refreshments were good, Beehoon, Ju kuehs, fried popiah/fried rolls, cakes, brownies...

Aft seminar, we went str to Ester's Aunt's shop at Lau Pa Sat, wanted to leave earlier but couldn't find the chance to leave... Ard 1, we left e building, it was a rush day for me as I hav to rush back to sch for my French lesson at 2!!! But still I wanna shop at her Aunt's plc, a quick one to see if I can grab any nice tops! Hahaa... Managed to try lots of tops n I gt a white three quarts shorts @ 12.90 n a black sleeveless top with a rose design for just 5 bucks... Alt I spent $17.90, though rush but great buy!

After which, I left first n rush off to sch, leaving them to shop ard, hav lunch n slowly take their time to go back sch... So good! I wanna join them too! But nvm French lesson is more impt as every French lesson I'll get to learn lots of new things and I like it! Reached sch ard 2.45/3pm... Missed abt an hr lesson but lucky nt much stuff though... Had lesson til ard 5 plus 6 and I hav nt been to my FYP lab yet! Ard 5.58pm I reached my lab n I was so exhausted, haven had my lunch yet... Did nt touch on my proj... Gosh! How to let Mr Foo see my progress!? Stresss... Than as I sat, nt wanting to on the com cuz signing out soon, I noticed this so called "Motivation of the Day" paper on my table... I read and aft reading it, I felt something, is nt a motivation for me but rather I see it as someone is trying to hint me something --> [Tt I'm nt working hard enough, slacking, getting all stressed up due to my own time management, getting lots of things undone n dun wanna put in effort n get over with...] All these thoughts went through my mind... Nt sure if I'm too sensitive or wat but I somehow felt someone is trying to hint me to work hard n put in more effort in my FYP... The first person whom I thought of, tt came to my mind was Mr Foo(my supervisor)... So I asked Qizhi who was also supervised by him if Mr Foo has left tt paper on my table or anyone accidentally left it there but he said he wasn't sure... He said Mr Foo did came to check on their progress but he nv realize anything... Another student under him was Rayn, tt day she was lying on the table nt in a gd mood so I din manage to ask... I felt more stress aft reading tt paper... It makes me think even more... Ponders, ponders ponders~ I really wanna find out who left it there, is it for me to see??? Lots of ???????????????????????? Lost...

P.s: Told to leave aft 13th Nov, as back in France, 1st Nov is their All Saints Day n they will be having 1 week hols there... So leaving on the 14th Nov...!

After FYP, went to meet sis in town... Hahaa seems like I've plenty of programs this week... Hav to treasure n make use of the time left! Gonna catch World Trade Centre before it ends soon~ Alr booked tics this afternoon at GV Plaza... Wanted to watch @ Lido but the timing din suit us so immediately aft meeting her we head down to Paragon's Sushi Tei for dinner... Cuz she's craving for it n of course me too! After all she's treating me as she's working n getting her first pay soon~ Tt's the best thing when gg out with my parents n sis... Whahaa I dun hav to pay anything... Sis is always my portable ATM :) Thanks sis! She introduced me this sashimi which is superb! Is nt an ordinary sashimi cuz the best part is the sauce itself... Simply delicious! Once u put it in your mouth, your eyes go wide open kind! Yummy! :p The desserts were great!

Aft dinner, we quickly head down to GV PS to catch our 8.45pm movie... World Trade Centre is a tragic movie I wud say... Is based on a true story of 2 firefighters helping out in the 9/11 attack... Touching, pitiful, fear, anxious, sad, remorseful, loving... A must watch movie! I give it 4 outta 5 bites... During the movie, I can hear many peeps weeping n everyone was wiping their tears... Aft e movie, I stared at my sis n said: "Best!". She stared at me, both of us with watery eyes and she said: "Whoa, very tired lei!" This movie is really making us super tired despite our tiredness aft a long day at FYP for me n work for her... We cried almost 3/4 of the show continuously, though there's lil breaks in between for us to stop crying, it was a short break... Everyone came out of the theatre with red watery eyes... Both sis n my eyes were stolen, so embarrass to look at peeps but it was worth watching... It was home sweet home*
All in all a perfect evening!

Had French lesson so called crash course starting fr today and for the following few weeks, 1 week twice... Planned by Mr Patrick whom thought we shd take up some French language before gg there... Tt's good cuz heard fr many peeps tt those peeps there won't speak English with u even though they knw English... They will cont to speak French cuz they are very proud of their culture and they wud want us to take the initiative to speak some French with them... Yest while Mr Patrick was toking to Mr Mallard (our crash course teacher). Both of them were like communicating in French and my friends & I were totally lost. Though I knw abit of French but tt doesn't help much moreover I can hardly catch wat they are saying cuz they are speaking super fast! I hav to think awhile before I can even get some ideas of wat they are toking abt...

Aft FYP, met Doreen in sch than went Vivo City to meet Becca... Had dinner @ Habourfront's Subway til ard 8 plus than we quickly head down to Vivo City for some shopping!!! No time no time for Shopping! Vivo City is huge! Everything under the sun! Topshop, Forever 21, Zara, Mango and next up GAP...! All there! Dunno how many times the size of a National Stadium n football fields! Heard the cinemas there are superb! Chairs with tables, couple seats, big screen... Cool! Sadly, we only managed to shop at one shop which is Forever 21... Compared to Wisma, the Forever 21 there is like 3 times bigger!!! By the time we shopped, took lots of clothes to try on, all the shops are starting to close or hav alr closed... Lots of varieties of clothes... My next shopping target and Mum was right, next time, everybody wud shop there n nt at Marina cuz everything under one roof PLUS lots of new brands fr Australia are situated there! Vivo City is da place for lots of shopping til u drop dead~ Super cold~ Da plc is so big n spacious and it tires me... Normally I dun rest or hav breaks in between while shopping but for Vivo, I guess I hav to hav breaks in between if nt my legs will break!!! I can even get lost! And is so diff to find a COFFEE BEAN! Doreen & I wanted to buy cake fr Coffee Bean for Hilder whose ending work @ one of the clothes shop there but we just couldn't find it! Though we hav passed by just nw n we found out the shop's door no but we just couldn't find agn... Have been turning rounds n rounds the whole level and it's so tiring, so near yet so far... In e end, we surrendered n bought a small strawberry ice cream cake fr Swensens...

Met up with Doreen & Becca for some tanning... Basked under the sun at Sentosa KM8! Though it was a rush one but we had lotsa fun taking endless shots of pics n managed to get tanned a lil except for Doreen... Hahaa... As usual hard to tan gal~ Great plc to chill out and tan with friends... The bar, benches, swing, engraved chairs, lil hut, scenery, Jacuzzi pool, varieties of drinks(beer, alcohol, soft drinks)... Simply great for tanning bummers... Definitely more to come!!!

Rush becuz we gotta meet HongWen, Francis & Guorui at Harbourfront to hav a surprise celebration for Marshall's bday though belated... Met up with them and we bought a cake fr breadtalk while Marshall was on his way... Settled down at Pastamania n we waited for quite long til all our stomach's were growling... So we ate first while waiting for Marshall whose LaTe! Just nice aft finishing our meals, so called late lunch, we prepared the cake n Doreen pretended to carry her bag n meet him as if she's alone. Than brought him to Pastamania and tt's when e surprise came! I bet he was shocked to see HongWen, Francis n Guorui there... We started singing bday song once he came in and he was filled with smiles and surprises... In e night aft dinner, had Haggen Daz Ice cream mooncake!!! :p Whoo, Shiokess! 5th Aunt was working part-time @ Haggen Daz so we always had staff price for Haggen Daz's tub ice cream! Always asked aunt to buy n this time round, during the Mid-Autumn Fes, Haggen Daz has this Ice cream moon cake! She bought the box of ice cream moon cakes with assorted flavors like Chocolate Chip, Macademia Nut, Strawberry n Cookies & Cream... Another standard box was all Durian flavour. A box cost abt 43-48 bucks and 13 bucks for each ice cream moon cake. She gave us the Macademia one and Mum cut it into 4 pieces for each of us... Dad, Mum herself, Sis & me! It was simply HEAVEN! SUPERB! Indescribable til u taste it! :p

Family Dinner

After fetching sis fr work ard 5pm, we had family dinner just now at this Chi/Thai restaurant @ Yishun... Heard fr my uncle who's livng there tt their food are superb! And it really was!!! I can't deny, great food, reasonable price!!! Cool... This restaurant doesn't take in reservations, is on a first come first serve basis and there are always lotsssss of families waiting outside for their turn... Our meeting time was 6.30pm but my family was ½hr late so, when we reached at ard 7pm, my uncle n aunties were still sitted outside waiting... Only 3 families out of 6 came today, sat til ard 7.30pm before our turn n we were all dying of HUNGER! Ordered quite a few dishes; Butter prawns, pineapple rice, Tom Yam soup, Gou Lo Yok, Kailan, KangGong, Claypot Tofu, Eggs, fish... Yummy... The dishes were Delicious! Nt tt we were hungry but it was... really I swear... All these dishes for only 75 bucks for 10 peeps! Worth it! A short n warmth dinner but still gt to catch up on some stuff n planning of the family trip to KL & Genting!... Ahhh!!! Guess I will miss it! Haiz... Aft dinner, went to my aunt's plc, check out her new hse, she has just shifted with her husband, a few months back... Shifted fr a 4-room flat in Sembawang to a 3-room flat in Yishun cuz both their children has married off and no pt staying in a hse with empty rooms... As usual, their hse were packed as both my aunt & uncle love to buy lots of things... Brightly painted, orange n yellow living room with blue lightings and blue bedrooms! Hahaa... As modern n as humorous a couple ever...

Had presentation this morning and I'm nt prepared! Hav nt prepare the things I'm gg to say... Was getting ready to just read n present those things on the slides... Surprisingly, of all the presentations I've done in my poly life, this was the first time I'm nt so nervous and just simply present n explained everything I've done during my 6 weeks of FYP... Clear, medium & smooth pace without any stammering... Cool! One of the lecturer asked a question n e other asked abt my OIPP, nt much on the presentation stuffs... (Probably my explanation was clear, Hahaa!) I just answered to their question immediately and to the point without any thoughts or probs... I'm so glad! :) Hope I'll get good grades for this presentation!

Immediately after presentation, went for my OIPP briefing! So excited! just wanna hear gd news! And truly, it was! Everybody approved all 6 of us for France!!! Yeah! Sooo sooo Happy! All 6! Cool! Thanks to the panel of NYP and the peeps @ ESIEE University! Mr Mark Lee & Mr Patrick discussed and wrote a letter to ESIEE(the University which we will be doing our project at) to take in 2 more peeps instead of the original 4 and they approved all 6 of us! They even fax over invitation letters to the 6 of us each! Buttttttt butttt... This morning, Mr Mark Lee has just fax over a letter of approval to the Principal of NYP... Sooo now the only thing is to wait for the Principal of NYP to sign n approve us to go...! Meanwhile we are asked to source for air tickets, the cheapest air tickets so that we can save up as much as possible to prevent fr over budget... Instead of taking an SQ flight which is unnecessary... Met up with the insurance agent too... Jamie, who will be helping us out with our insurance stuffs for the whole trip... She has been dealing with many grps of the previous OIPP students abt 5-6 grps alr... Sort of NYP's OIPP insurance agent alr! Hahaa... So I guess there's no prob moreover the coverage charges are nt bad anyway *Choi choi* Touchwood... Smilez~

Met up with Jl, Becca, Ave, Xin & Ian to hav an advanced celebration for Jl's bday which is tml! Met up with them at Chomp Chomp n I was rather late cuz of Mr Foo(my supervisor) always meeting us at the wrong timing when everyone starts to go off at 6pm than he comes... Felt so guilty for letting Dad & Mum wait for almost an hour! They were supposed to fetch me to gardens n hav a quick dinner themselves cuz dad hav to go back to change n rush off for an appt with his friends. They waited so long for me and still fetch me to gardens to meet up with JL they all... The worst thing is they themselves haven n hav no time to eat dinner cuz Dad has an appt... I asked Mum if she wants to pack food back she said she'll just eat oats meal... How Sad!!! I felt so guilty :( Asked them to go back first but they still waited... I'm sooo sooo glad to hav such great parents :)

After fetching me to gardens, they went back... Met them at Chomp Chomp n they had alr started eating cuz I told them to... Lucky Becca just came also cuz she went Chinatown to get belt for JL... Was supposed to meet Ave @ 6.30pm also and I haven bought bday card n order cake! Was so busy today! Oh man! Walking towards Chomp Chomp, I saw Becca ordering food n we quickly hide to discuss n go get the bday card n ordered cake fr Sweet Secrets! Though I'm near their table but I haven gt to meet them yet... Hahaa so near yet so far... Heard fr Becca tt JL will be giving us each a card where she wrote a msg for the individual 10 of us... So we bought a card each for the sisters who came n asked them to write a card for JL... Great idea by me! Hahaa... Bought 4 small cards for Ave, Xin, Becca & me than ordered cookies & cream chesse cake fr Sweet Secrets! Aft tt zoom off to Chomp Chomp, we were so hungry! Ordered food and started eating... All of them almost finish eating, seeing us eat... Hahaa JL was like asking why Becca ordered food for so long... Catch up n as usual chat on lots of stuffs... After quite some time, Jl than saw peeps celebrating bday with bday cakes n she asked: "Why I dun hav birthday cake?" smiling away n said just kidding... Hahaa act we hav alr ordered, Jl sometimes nice things hav to keep for e back part n wait k? Hahaa... Of course, we kept quiet... We had our own ways, distributed the cards to them n told Ave & Xin our plan...

Aft dinner, we went to this place called ICE something to chill... Found out when Becca & I was ordering e cake and we passed by there which we thought it was a rather nice plc to chill aft dinner... Found a nice sofa corner, settled down n Becca & me than went to collect e cake just a few doors away... Wrote our small cards to JL there, prepared the candles n cake everything, lighted up the candles before walking in n it was so paiseh cuz the passage way to our table was rather long! Called Xin to prepare singing bday song and when I walked in everyone was like staring at me, walked fast down towards our table n we started singing! JL was rather surprised and smiling throughout... Cut cake, took lots of pics, ate cakes, desserts... We then clear our table n started playing Indian Poker followed by Circle of Death! It was so much fun! All introduced by Ian, the poker contributor... Hahaa! Played Indian Poker before but nt Circle of Death... Circle of Death is a rather interesting game I wud say!

Indian Poker is a game where everyone will pick a card, without looking at it n paste on your forehead. The person with the smallest number card on their forehead lose the game... So meanwhile, during the game, we hav to bluff or rather tell honestly to the person with the smallest card n ask him/her to change. Tt will also depends on if he/she trust u. Normally, bluff will be more fun so tt we can make the person with the biggest card change. And he/she might get a smaller one, so a higher chance of u in e middle or wining...

Circle of Death is a game where each cards fr 2-9 including picture cards hav tasks behind it... Everyone hav to pick a card one by one fr the whole deck. All the red cards ranging fr 2-9 are cards when u pick, u will have to drink ur own, the no of sips depends on the number u picked. Ex: If u picked a No. 9 red card than u will hav to drink 9 sips fr ur cup. For the black cards ranging fr 2-9 are cards when u pick, u will hav to pick a friend to drink. For ex. If u picked a No.6 black card than u will hav to pick a friend to drink 6 sips fr her cup. For the no.10, if anyone picks 10, no matter wat color, u will hav to say a word and everyone will start to cont rhyming with e word tt u say. As for picture cards, anyone who picked :), no matter wat color, they will hav to choose a friend/buddy so that when the next rd they drink, this friend/buddy will hav to drink the same amt of sips together with he/her... For Queen, no matter wat color, once u picked Q, all the girls present will hav to drink. For King, no matter wat color, once u picked K, all the guys present will hav to drink. Lastly, As is the best card! Anyone who picked As, he/she can change the rules of the game. For ex: Everyone is nt allowed to say any names! Tt's rather difficult...

Lucky we only drank plain water n we were all super bloated... How nice if it was alcoholic drinks n all of us will surely drop dead in no time... Whahaha so fun! Alright! Next rd will be alcoholic drinks! Yeah!...

2 Scary Moments…

Yest night aft FYP, went Bugis to collect something and when I was on my way back on bus 80, I met this pervert guy... Halfway through e journey, he came up to e upper deck looking for seats and at e same time I'm sitting alone on e outer side so then I let him in... Once he sat, he took up a lot of plc, though his nt very big in size... Half of my butt was like out of the chair! Than I noticed with my side eyes' view, he kept staring at me looking up n down n esp the chest area... I felt rather weird n uneasy... My heart beating fast... I purposely look to his side and stare at his direction but nt directly... I kept a lookout hoping tt nothing happens... Once he came up of the bus I somehow felt tt his quite weird, his behaviour n everything like very blur n dai dai(nerd)... In my mind, I was hoping tt someone in front of me gets down quickly so tt I can change seats cuz the bus is really packed n there's no available seats... I kept praying, taking precautions, thought if I shd go down n sit on the lower deck instead, thought of many ways to react if anything were to happen... Was rather angry and feeling uneasy as it was aft quite sometime tt I gt to change seats... Once I saw available seats I quickly moved in front... Than aft awhile, wat makes me pissed is tt he changed plc n went to look for another girl target!!! How pervert can he be man! As usual, he stared at the girl fr top to bottom n esp at the chest area... Lucky the girl was wearing a blouse or jacket, more covered... Was rather worried for the girl... At first, she was act dozing off, aft awhile I think she felt uneasy n she was awake taking precautions, staring back at e guy's direction on her right... Nw the guy was sitting on the outer side, while e girl inside which makes me even more worried for her!!! Oh man! N every now n then, he kept turning back, dunno to look for wat/who... Maybe looking out for targets; girls who wore lesser...! I kept a lookout for the girl throughout e rest of my journey... Thought if I shd befriend with her n asked her to go down to e lower deck to sit with me though she's a stranger... Girls hav to be protected at all times! And dun think girls hao qi fu k!!! Can't stand the way tt guy's stare... Disgusted! But I see how it goes n kept a lookout at all times... Nearing to my stop, was afraid tt he wud drop down with me but luckily he dropped down a few stops before me and I was rather relieve for tt girl... Immediately aft he went down, I can see tt the girl felt so much comfortable n relieved... Guess there's this office guy also noticed it, telling his gf/wife abt it n they kept a lookout too...

While I was walking back fr the bus stop, walking on the pavement and all of a sudden there's this lil kitten popped out fr the small drain at the side!!! It's head popping out of tt small lil hole checking if there's anyone passing by went back in agn... I was shocked!!! Though it's small but since young I'm soooo afraid n dislike cats soooooooo soooooo much... Just dunno why cuz they have this evil face n seems very scary~~~ Esp black ones... At tt moment, I really had a shock out of my life man... Walked pretty fast n zoom back home......

Two continuous scary moments and it's just a few mins aft another can really give me a heart attack...

1. Sat cab to school this morning and the taxi driver was so hilarious... Whahaa...! At first, immediately when I gt into the cab, I said: "Uncle! Nanyang Poly!" Tt's wat I usually do when I take cab to school... However it turn out to be a lady driver with short hair wearing a cap... Gosh! I hope she din hear but it was rather loud... Ooopss... I'm very sorry, I din mean it :( The way she talks was so funny, like very sam pak... I'm laughing throughout the whole journey... Cuz when I said Nanyang Poly n she immediately said she's nt sure of the direction n ask if I knew... As she doesn't seems to know Serangoon well, she said Sgn Central still nt so bad cuz the expressway is near as compared to Sgn North, she will be lost cuz there are a lot of avenues... Hahaa so cute... So I led her throughout the journey... We chatted a lot, she asked abt my course n she was frighten to hear tt it was Multimedia Infocomm somehow related to design n advertising stuffs which she said she hate it most! Hahaa... She said advertising cannot really earn much unless u r interested than is alright... I was like "oh really?" guess I'm interested so it doesn't matter n I dun think I will earn tt lil... Anyway, she was saying she hates designing most cuz she dunno how peeps can get inspirations... Where to get so many inspirations? Tt's wat she said... The way she speaks, I can't stop laughing esp when she was talking abt her son... Hahaa! Her son is studying in SP now n since he entered poly her son's academic deproved n has been skipping classes once his late... So she told her son is alright just pass can alr assuming tt with just a passing mark can still get into Uni... Her daughter currently studying in NUS then told her tt to go Uni, one hav to at least get Dist or As... Than she kept saying Jia lat, helpless alr... I'm mostly laughing at the way she talks, her actions n behaviour... Cannot take it... hahaa...

2. Received Mr Mark Lee's (lecturer who in charge of OIPP) sms in e morning... It says: "This fri 13 Oct there will be a meeting at P518 for briefing & insurance matters..." Oh??? What does it mean? So am I selected? Was so eager n excited to know the results... Insurance matters? So I am selected??? Asked e other interviewees and they gt the msg too! So e 6 of us gt selected? Can't wait for Fri...!!!

3. In the afternoon, there's this passerby (guess it was my friend's friend) talking outside my lab. As my seat is facing the window, right behind him, he suddenly turn back n stick his face onto the window! N do silly expressions facing me... Whahaa though I dunno him, I laughed n felt very funny... Cuz his face is practically sticking onto the window n his nose flatten... While my friend who was beside him, asked him if he knows me n he said he dunno... Hahaa... Can somehow see fr their gestures wat they are talking abt... My friend than signal to me pointing to his guy friend: "His Mad!" Fr then on, whenever I see him we smiled n started laughing, tt's how we became friends...!

4. Starting of the sch term, week 0, Xavier another funny guy came sch n had break with us... Once I see him I will start laughing cuz he hav this cartoon face... Nt saying I'm bad or wat but u know some peeps when u see them u will want to smile n laugh... His like Happy go Lucky kind, won't get angry one which is good! As a Malaysian, he than started saying abt his robbery incident back in JB... He nearly gt beaten up n the robber was holding a knife... A gang of them somemore... But lucky he was fine... His hp was stolen n his father scolded him instead tt he shd snatch his phone back... Hilarious...! Think his dad also one of a kind... The way he speaks n the words he say really makes everybody laugh even when u are feeling moody or sad... Likes to make everyone ard him happy... :D

Happy 19th Birthday!

Hope u like the surprise just now as well as the present we bought for ya...!

Had OIPP Interview last fri, it was a rather relax, casual chatting and asking of questions... There are three interviewers interviewing all six of us together and two of them kept asking questions, chat with us, tell us abt what we shd expect n see there while e other one kept quiet throughout! Guess he was probably observing us... Hmm... One of the interviewers was really humorous, I guess this was to prevent us from feeling tensed up or nervous... I like! It was very relax n casual talking, I guess of all the interviews I've gone this is the most relax one... can just speak anything u like n be open...

Questions like: "Why do u wanna go there?" And all of us started saying wanna expose to the different cultures there... Than one of the interviewers said: "All of u kept saying cultures, u know wat is our Singapore's culture?" Oooh... Everybody started popping out funny ans-Uniquely Singapore, Democracy, blah,blah... N one of the interviewers said : "DEMOCRACY!?, u know who are the ones who started democracy first? It was the French peeps... :) Have u all read the French revolutionaries?" Hahaa... And... One of them says once in awhile we shd hav parties with the diff international students there than cook some of our local food there... So he started asking each of us what can we cook? Hahaa... Maggie Mee, dunno how to cook were some of the ans... For my turn, I said: "Pasta and fried rice which I think is wat my sis usually cook for me... Hahaa..." The interviewer than said: "Pasta!? You wanna cook pasta for them? There is pasta everywhere..." Though they kind of shoot us back but we thought it was rather true, never thought of tt... I really never think before I speak... Overall, it was an interview filled with laughters, jokes, facts abt life, open-ended questions, a friendly n relax one... The only sad thing was they would only take in 4 peeps out of e 6 of us but Mr Mark Lee will try to ask the France side to take in 2 more which means letting all e 6 of us go!

Sis bought Durian Mooncake fr Emicakes! Since e first n last time we tasted e durian mooncake last yr, we were all in love with it!!! It's bing pi(soft skin) with paste inside! My family just loves durians so muccch... Yeah! Cheers to sis!!!

Went to meet e sisters at Taka's Crystal Jade... Had a wonderful lunch celebration for Karin's bday... In fact this was the first time we are celebrating Karin's bday alone on her actual day... If nt we will combine all the librians n celebrate together... Went down to Bugis aft tt to take a look at Karin's adidas jacket... Looks great on her... Buttt due to some probs... Sorry Karin had to give ya a belated present... Wait til u found ur bag than tell us k? :) Hope u've enjoyed a short n nice meal together with us!

It was a quick one n was kinda rush cuz we had to leave ard 3pm to go Bren's TPSD bbq... So soon after head on to Bren's TPSD bbq... The venue has change fr Pasir Ris Park to one of the condo's at Tanah Merah due to the haze prob... Indeed today's haze was so much better compared to the previous days one... Could see a CLEAR view of the surroundings! Tt's good... They had organized some interesting games but we did nt play, which we regretted aft tt cuz we can all form a group n join them instead... I bet it will be super fun! Hahaaa... Bbq started, we sat n chat by the pool, felt rather anti-social as we did nt mix ard with the rest cuz was rather weird... But somehow later gt to talk to diff peeps... All of them were rather easy going n friendly... As usual, we always wait for someone to bring food to us or go to the pit n collect food... hahaha... So bad of us... If this were to be my bbq or if this bbq is somehow related to me, I will definitely help out just tt e peeps there, I dun really know well... Due to this, all of us din really filled our stomach... However, it was nt bad afterall! :) First time meeting Ronald in person, looks e same in photos... Nt bad... Hahhaa... E sisters smiled n waved to him but he was rather shy... Can see tt his a person with more actions than words... Good! Actions Speaks Louder Than Words! Xing Fu Bren... Hahaa... It was Talentime later in the night, all waiting for Ronald n his grp of friends to sing... Esp Bren, she was so excited! Nt bad afterall, just tt they shd sing abit louder n with a midi background song so that the singer's voice won't cover their voice... They sang Jia Gei Wo n another song forgt the title... Jia Gei Wo is nice n of course Bren got mesmerized by Ron when Ron smiled n eye contact with her while singing... Hahaa... So sweet...! Back home aft the Talentime cuz some of us have sch, work and Mar had to book in early in e morning...

This is also the second time I'm typing out this entry... So it will be rather brief... Typed two long entries in a day but my com can't read the doc. file...

Went dental checkup with mum in the morning @ Serangoon North, my old neighbourhood... Brought back lots of memories... It's been a long time since I last came here... My mouth felt so fresh aft e dentist cleaned my teeth :D I just love the taste n smell of colgate... So refreshing, dun feel like eating anything alr... Mum bought a top there, nt bad... The shop we usually go aft our dental... Bought a jeans tt time @ just 15 bucks... Great buy! After which, told Mum I want to take a look at the field and so we walked there... The field brought back lots of memories which is just down my old block... During Mid-Autumn Festival, my sis, me n our neighbours would go down the field to play candles, sparkling sticks n carry lanterns... At night, the field will be filled with lots of neighbouring children carrying lanterns etc... From my hse above we can see the brightly lighted field with diff lantern designs carried... Every child carrying a lantern each really makes a lot of difference... Brightened up the whole field, leaving a warmth n bonded feeling... When walking towards our block, we met Aunty xxx, our closest old neighbour, who is just leaving opp our old unit... She has three children n their age is abt the same as my sis n me... Nt a big difference, we are like sisters n brothers to one another... Was so happy to see her!!! She kept smiling when she saw me, nonetheless me too! It's been like 5 yrs since I last saw her... Still as cheerful and pretty mum... Walked rd the field, to our old block, than to the bus stop... Though we are like turning one big rd but it's all worth it...

Back home, aft eating Mum's lunch, I immediately fell asleep! Feel like a pig~ I was so tired, couldn't help but fell asleep once I lied on my cozy bed... Was act thinking of wat to wear as I need to drop by Marina Sq to get my Body Shop lotion, aft which, accompany Becca to Bugis to buy her Topshop top, discuss n buy some stuffs... Feeling so sleepy n lazy~ Got out of my bed n dragged myself out of e hse... Unfortunately, I missed my stop n I was lost somewhere... Dropped at Clifford Pier there, cross over to Change Alley to take the opp bus back but just couldn't find the nearest bus stop... Instead of walking backwards, I walked down cuz at the back was a very long bridge... Walked down, still couldn't find any bus stop, saw lots of office buildings n I guess I'm at Shenton Way alr... Hahaa... To my delight, saw Raffles stn ahead, so took a train instead... Haiz... thought could miss the long walkway through City Link... Quickly get my stuffs n meet Becca @ Bugis... Got her top, walked ard Village then went for dinner... Had dinner at some lanes along North Bridge Road... Becca said there's this delicious Minced Pork Noodle (Bak Cho Mee) n so we ate! Yummy...! Head on to Bugis Icon, shop ard n back home... zZZZzzz...

Becca showed me this link n it was so cool...! Imagine the 10 of us staying in, we will go CRAZY!!! Love the diff suites so much...! :D

Happy Mid-Autumn Festival!!!

After FYP met up with Becca & Jl to Marina Square for dinner... It's been a long time since we last saw Jl... Becca was late so met up with Jl first than sat at somewhere n catch up with each other... Becca came so we shop ard, bought our stuffs... Than it was dinner at the foodcourt... Jl than brought us to this open space area with an overview of a nice scenery... Wow love the place! Din know there's this plc cuz have nt been there to eat before... Alright I'm outdated, e both of them than started saying cuz I usually eat in restaurants... Hey! I usually eat in fastfood, foodcourt, coffeeshops or even hawker centres(I admit seldom) k! Sometimes restaurants only but seldom also... Hahaaa... Great plc n we chatted, catch up on lots of stuffs... Of course snapping of pics with the beautiful esplanade behind but it was rather blur cuz of the haze... It's really misty outside n the smell is bad... Heard tt is PSI: 130/150 for tt day... Becca said we are in Genting Highlands! And I so agreed...

Later on we thought of dropping by @ DXO to hav a drink, since it's ladies night n everything is free! Dun hav to pay a single cent! Though we wore til very casual, we just hack n went in... Oh man first time wearing papillo sandals in...! Took our drinks went up sat on the comfortable cushioned seats... There's a live band performance gg on near the dance floor, they were singing clubbing songs throughout so we sat n watched fr above... Scanning through e singers but couldn't find the singer whom I wanna see! Act our main purpose is to watch the live band @ the roof terrace outside but no one was there... Thought tt since there was a live band inside, doubt there will be another band there... The dancers were gd n singers were nt bad but can't compare to my cool guitarist cum singer... After awhile, when we were abt to leave, we walked pass the roof terrace n I saw tt singer!!! So cool! Of course, we went out to hear n look at my jap-looking singer cum guitarist... Both of them agreed too! Sat there, hear a few songs, really good ambience... The first time I heard him sing, i melted man... Here they sang more of pop, love n sentimental songs... U can dedicate to who ever u like n ask them to sing, they seems to know lots of songs... Jl seems to love this plc... I would say it's a nice n budget plc to chill out on Fridays... As Becca is in a rush to go back n anyway hav no mood to chill cuz of my dressing, we sat awhile n off we go back home... Great catch up, ambience, scenery, music... :) tired...

Ester n I was one of e two who gt chosen for the photo shoot in our lab... Did some photo taking just now... It was so weird I pretend typing n Ester pretend talking on e phone... Think is for some SIT course brochure/booklet where there will be modules n requirements for each course, given to the next batch of yr 1s or rather for newsletter... Din get to see how the photo turn out but I hope it will turn out good, not too big like the banner kind at Atrium... Hahaa... This morning, another two of my friends, Eugene & Alan left S'pore to Hong Kong for Overseas Attachment (OIPP). They will be station at China, Guangzhou for 3 mths but drop by at HK first cuz the Headquarters is there... Shiok! I'm sure e both of u will be having a great time together (*Dun think crooked~) Hahhaa... Definitely a great opportunity n experience hard to get... Both of u will really excel man :) Take care guys~

Time passes really fast today, din know tt it was alr lunch time... Normally we'll be having early brunch... Ester din feel hungry! Hmmm... normally she will prompt us to eat... Maybe cuz both of us have things to do n once u are busy, time passes really fast...

In the evening, aft fetching sis fr work, e family went to Aloha Resort @ Pasir Ris for my nephew, Kayden's 1 yr old birthday dinner... Great! Sort of like a family gathering I wud say... But poor birthday boy who had just gt Chicken Pox yest was all the while in e room, afraid to spread to others who have nt gotten it... He was abt to inject the Chicken Pox vaccination next week unfortunately he gt it... Lucky most of us gt it before but was thinking Chicken Pox might happen twice... N my mum agreed for those peeps whose Chicken Pox haven really fully pop out yet... :)

My family was the earliest cuz grandma can't wait to see her grandchildren. Watched tv, went opp arcade to play Bishi Bash with sis... So unlike us! But we were having fun! Lol... The ting tt I was pissed was we have just donated 2 bucks to the machine... Wanted to play Photo Hunt but e machine was spoilt n ate our 2 bucks... Inserted 50 cents, followed by a dollar then prompted to choose e no. of players n e kind of categories available... So when we chose it prompted us to INSERT coins agn as we thought it was 2 bucks we inserted another dollar... It then prompted us to choose e no. of players n types of categories AGN! Sis n I felt something is nt rite n true to say it prompt us to INSERT COINS AGN! Those machines there doesn't even show how much it cost for a game! Wth... Moreover, there is also no one in charge of tt arcade plc. 2 bucks of 50 cents can cont four games of Bishi Bash... Hahaaa... I'm like complaining n my sis told me haiyah nvm la I give u the 2 bucks... I smiled n said no need it was Mi's (Mummy) money... Hahaa...

Dental appt cancelled cuz the dentist has some urgent appt to tend to... All dressed up n ready to go, Mum & I than decided to go PS's DBS bank to do some stuffs and shop ard since it's still early before she goes for her facial appt and for me meeting Doreen to shop... She had to get an outfit for Marshall's sis engagement next week... Mum & I had lunch at Ajisen than Doreen joined us when we were abt to finish eating... Mum than paid the bill for us and left us to go for her facial at ard 1pm while I accompanied Doreen for her lunch...

Aft tt it was shopping the whole day!!! I love it! :) Went to a few shops at PS, tried some tops than rush down to Toss @ Far East n hope to get the two tops tt I eyed for quite some time... Buttttt it was sold out, as usual I somehow knew it, regretted I was always in such cases... However, I still went to a few shops, tried a few tops n a dress which I like it... :) But still deciding... Bought a top n Doreen bought a black short... Overall for the whole day Doreen & I was like trying lots of tops... Hahaa... Fitting room is our frequent plc... Anyway, it's free so no harm trying rite? You have to try to know if u looks good in it! Head down to Isetan's staplewear and as usual Doreen tried a few dresses while I tried a few tops... Eyed on a top :p Xin then came down to meet us aft her work... Went Zara than to HMV's Toss and hope I can get my top at tt outlet... No high hopes and really there's no sight of it... Described the top, gave my no to the shop owner and asked them to contact me if there are any stocks coming in cuz I really like it... Than it was down to take a look at the straw bag which Xin n me eyed very long ago... To buy or nt to buy? Nt my priority but in the end I bought it... Had a hard time choosing between the colors but in the end bought off-white... Asked the salesgirl for opinion... It was kinda rush as we need to drop by Bugis Village too...

So off we go, reached Bugis ard 7 plus, e three of us were hungry so we had a quick dinner inside the village's coffeeshop... Ordered Fish Head Curry shared among the three of us... It was delicious! Yummy...! Or maybe we were too hungry... Hahaa... Aft we had pumped up, we were hyper n all ready to go for shopping agn... It was kinda rush cuz only left 1½hrs left to shop before they close... Doreen still manage to get a jeans n a top, in the end she decided to wear 2 piece instead of a dress for Mar's sis engagement... The last top tt she tried is the nicest of all tops she tried there... Emm... Nt bad can still manage to get a jeans aft despite many shops has alr started closing... Some of the shop owners can be really humorous n some really attitude n one of a kind... Tired we were, sat the giddy bus 80 home... Act planned to stay over at Doreen's hse for mahjong but we were too tired...

After FYP, together with za n mad we went to meet e rest (those IAP peeps) at orchard stn! Off at 5.30pm, same for Joel who was attached at Toa Payoh claims he very free and just couldn't wait for us to drop by his stn, he met us at yck stn n head down towards town area... Min came, followed by Sue & Albert than we waited for quite sometime and felt tt we were blocking ppl's way, e stn was just too crowded so we head on Far East Plaza first to look for plc to eat...

As this period is the fasting month, during this timing ard 7pm, lots of Malay peeps had to break fast so everywhere were fully booked... Our first choice Ramen Ten, though we know tt we have to wait for an hr on the waiting list, we still cont booking for 12 peeps... It's really hard to find a plc for 12 peeps moreover ard this timing... It's reaching 7pm and we might be able to get seats only ard 8 plus but it was alright as a few more peeps hasn't turn up yet... So I left my no n the manager will inform me agn asap... Za & Min has been fasting since morning 5am til 7pm nt even drinking a sip of water, I bet they were really hungry... So we went to the outdoor 7-eleven and they each bought a drink to break fast... Sat n chatted while waiting for the rest of the peeps til ard 7.30pm... Baocheng & Ryan, Tingzhen & Jerry followed by Yimei who only knock off at 6.30pm... Waiting for the manager's call but to no avail and everyone were so hungry nt saying Za & Min so we decided to go lucky plaza to hav dinner...

Hmmm , while we thought we can hav some gd food n almost all prefer Ramen Ten, walking halfway to Scotts, I received a call fr Ramen Ten's manager, he was like shouting my name "FANG ar! There's seats available alr! For 12 peeps rite?" I was kinda shocked n delighted so I replied: "Oh there's seats alr? Now? Yep for 12! OK Thanks!" Immediately, I called back those fast walkers who were right in front to walk back as there's available seats @ Ramen Ten alr... Sorry peeps for letting ya wait n walking back n forth... I shd hav book it earlier... All delighted, we walked back n the 12 seats were nicely placed for us... We just happily walked in despite a queue outside... :) We ordered our food immediately, in e meantime, took pics, catch up with 1 another haven been seeing each other for a mth since sch started... The food was quite fast maybe cuz of the talking we did... Lots of laughter, fun, jokes, catch up, chat like no tml... Lots of things to chat up like never ending... Esp with Yimei, miss her laughter... Hahaa... Haven been having such great time with MIT0409 since FYP & IAP started... Miss e company n the great ppl ard...

After dinner, we were all super full! Walked down to Orchard stn, wanted to catch a movie but some were broke, too tired and rather late for a few of them by e time the movie ends... So we missed it! N can't bare to leave each other just wanna spent abit more time, I suggested we walked to Somerset or PS stn... Along the way chatted with diff peeps, tried to catch up with each n everyone esp the IAP peeps... Than Za, Min, Sue n Albert left to somerset stn while e rest of us cont to walk down PS... As usual, chatted non-stop... Lastly, at PS/Douby Gaut stn all of us slowly departed... Mad first followed by Yimei n me took the NEL than e rest; Joel, Ryan, Baocheng, Tingzhen, Jerry took the red line... In NEL train, Yimei n me were talking non-stop even til my stn, we seems like we stll hav loads to talk abt... Not enough time... Overall, great meet up! So glad to see all of them!!! When will we get to meet agn...??? Tired but happy~

Feeling much better~ think due to lack of sleep & the long hrs of staring at com + maybe ate the wrong food... But I guess is more of lack of sleep cuz I felt a lot better aft taking half a day off n slept immediately when I gt home... Though ate a lil but had a nice minced pork porridge for dinner bought by Mum!

Yeah! Off at 5.30pm every Fri... Annnd today is a Fri! It means weekend is here...! Will be having class dinner later, can't wait to see those IAP peeps in 1 hrs time! :) happy, happy~

Have a safe journey and enjoy your OIPP @ Shanghai... Shop for nice & cheap stuffs... I bet u will enjoy and have lotsa fun other than doing IAP+FYP there... Another one gone... Everyone is leaving S'pore... On Mon, sis's best friend, Grace left to Boston for 2 years and nt coming back at all... Which means sis could only see her aft 2 yrs... Sis even knit a scarf for her, so touched... Is quite amazing tt sis will do such thing esp KNITTING A SCARF! I bet sis will be rather sad and lonely aft she left cuz they almost meet a few times every week... Sure to have some changes and feeling weird when someone so close to you suddenly left ya for 2 yrs...

Next peeps gg for OIPP to HK/China(Guangzhou) will be Alan & Eugene... They will be leaving next Wed 4th Oct... This was the trip tt I nearly got in, if nt I will be leaving with them too... Hmmm...

I was quite sad over the results but Jonathan is still my Singapore Idol!!! I like his rendition of 'You Give Me Wings'... This song is really well written by Ken Lim with the soothing melody and you can really feel the inspirations when they (Jonathan & Hady) sang...

Though Hady's voice is Very Strong and consistent, Jonathan's stage performance is strong and charismatic... I just feel tt he has this X-factor!

Thank you thank you thank you. I really enjoyed myself singing at the indoor stadium tonight for every one of you. It was really a dream come true to sing in front of the entire nation and to such an amazing 8000 people crowd. You guys were simply amazing. To all of you who watched at home on the telly, thank you so much to.. I have to apologize for not having enough tickets to go round. I tried my best to get as many as i could for all of you.

I actually had the most fun performing "should i stay" by dreamz fm... Its so very nice to perform a local song for a local competition! We must support local music!!! You guys were simply amazing with the cheers and everything! Shout out to Hady's supporters as well. you guys really yelled your lungs out. I would not be here without your votes, love and support. Thank you for giving me the strength and determination to go all out every week for the past few months to perform for you.

I hope you enjoy the results show tomorrow and I really look forward to singing for you again soon!

Guesstures - A kind of charade game where each
grp have to pick four cards according to No. 1-4,
slot it in the 'toaster' box, push down the orange
button and describe to other grps to let them guess
e word on each card by using hand or any kind of
gestures you like for 30 secs. Each time one card
will slowly get eaten up by this box if e grp hasn't
guess correctly. The grp with the most cards
guessed wins the game. But we played differently,
all of us took turns n picked 4 cards each and
charade. It was so funny! Some of the words were
difficult to describe. Doreen love to charade so
much and she became so hyper tt in the end she
was the one describing and e rest of us guessing...
But sometimes her gestures were weird and it was
difficult to guess wat she was describing... lols!

Met up with Xin & Doreen ard 1 at my station... Becca wanted to meet us but told her to meet at 3 instead cuz we had to do some stuffs for her bday... Hahaa... so nw u know why we meet ya so late n in town... :) Went F21 bought becca's prez n a ear stud for myself, tried on a few tops, Doreen bought top n earrings then the two peep's stomach was growling so went to have lunch... I was exceptional cuz had alr taken lunch before gg out... Hahas... But in the end I still ate... Oh man really a pig, kept eating n eating... At first bought Tako Balls only but aft tt Doreen couldn't finish her Tori's lunchbox so she asked me to finish up for her... The box was like still filled with rice n meatballs is like 3/4 left... Oh man! I'

m a real pig almost finish up everything... Can't stand myself... Sat outside Ngee Ann City, ate our food, wrote n decorate becca's card (Sorry becca for the nt much decorations n messy card...) than heard some familiar voice singing and is act Geraldine fr Campus Super Star... No wonder... Her fans were like shouting away...

Becca came n we head on to Far East, shop awhile, bought bubble tea and Doreen & me went to trim our eyebrows... Introduce them this wulu but cheap n good plc to trim eyebrow for just 8 bucks... The aunty seems very hip n pro... The only aunty there who knows how to trim and have blond hair! Shop ard agn saw 2 tops @ Toss & a dress @ Realm which adds on to shopping list agn... Ahhh!!! Met up with Pear n Baoquan then quickly head on to Paragon to meet Ave and Swensens to meet Bren... Thanks to Bren who has helped us queue n booked places for the 9 of us... It was then the SURPRISE & Big big present for Becca!!! Hahaa... Frederick bluffed her tt his gg Malaysia but he turned up to give her a surprise! It was all so well planned a few weeks ago! And the secretive stuffs tt Xin n me did was gg out with Frederick to buy presents n discuss... Hahaa... All of us knew it tt day... We were really great Actors n Actresses... Eat agn! Hahaa... Ordered Chicken Baked Rice, Yummy Yummy!! Love the cheese :) Chat n took lots of pics! It was cake time and din know all the Swenson's staffs came n sang bday song together with us for Becca... Great! We were super full! Couldn't make room for earthquake anymore which we wanted to...

The night is still young! Din wanna go back so early so all of us walked down to Paradiz Centre there to chill @ this cafe called Mind's Cafe... Before tt was on waiting list, Bren was too tired so she went back first and while waiting we played pool for like half an hour before the person called for us... Mind's Cafe is great! Our next chilling target plc... Is something like Settlers Cafe with many card/board games for customers to play + it is sooo much cheaper than Settlers + very convenient for us to go back... Played lots of games ard 5 diff kinds of games til we were all so hyper after tt... Hahhaa... Dun think I'll talk much abt the games if nt it will be super long... Left ard 1.30am n cab home... There was like police rate on e way back but lucky it was starting to drizzle so they stopped n nt checking letting the time pass with the cab fare increasing... Met up with Xin to Bugis, had dinner at Phins, this really nice plc along Liang Seah Street with great ambience n food... Update on lotsa stuffs then to Bugis Icon and Village... As usual saw lotsa nice stuffs which add on to our shopping list... Was quite a rush shop ard cuz by e time we finish our dinner was ard 8 plus but we still manage to shop the whole place... Yest thought I could sell away my driving timeslot but guess it was kinda late and it is an Auto lesson which I think very lil peeps learning auto, moreover it was in the night... I'm sure if it's Manual, it will be sold... Though I'm learning Manual but I have to at least take one Auto lesson so was yest... Din know why but I was just SUPER TIRED yesterday... Feeling very sleepy, my eyes can close anytime... Dad came to send me, bathe, had dinner and get ready... Can't take it and change into my spects, felt abit more comfortable... But still my eyes were pain... Afraid tt I might doze off while driving, I opened my eyes widely throughout the lesson... Luckily it was a rather relax lesson, the instructor nv really comment much abt my driving... Auto is really soooo soooo much easier than Manual!!! No changing of gears, no clutch, will never get engine stall, so relax... Dad & Mum came to fetch me than went to fetch sis who off work at 11pm... Felt tiring for her tt she has to work til so late though she starts work at 2pm... Think fr nw on she has to work fr 2-11pm everyday... Sometimes even weekends... She just found this bank job which I think is very good for her but no choice, as a trainee for 3 mths, tt's the experience... Slept immediately when I went back home... zzzZZZ...
Yeah! Off at 5.30pm today! Friday...! It's the weekend! Gtg meet Xin soon to Bugis...

Went to meet Xin to shop in town aft my FYP just now... Did some secretive stuffs... Hahaaa... Funny... Lols... Can't reveal til the time is right... All I can say is fun! But my shoulders hurt due to my heavy bag...

Today Ester n I wore the same color top! WHITE AGN!... No plans, we swear... 4th time... Joyce also wore white! Which made us Charlie Angels??? No no...

Deprove/Confused :(

Woke up, bathe and checked my results immediately early in the morning... I deprove... :( Sad... Not satisfied... GPA dropped... First time getting a D... Gt a D+ for ICT but lucky din fail which I thought I will... GPA dropped by 0.1+... So much...! Faints... Think this sem is real tough for everyone to pull through... Though slought really hard but results still deprove really felt disappointed... Maybe cuz this sem is mostly based on projs tt's why more things to do... Anyway I somehow predicted too cuz I knew I din do well for the theory papers which will pull down everything... Gotta work harder for my FYP now as well as IAP which is coming, in abt 9 weeks time. Gotta hit my targeted pt which I think is slightly difficult... But I will try my best to push Up, Up, Up!

Another thing nw which left me in dilemma... Mr Patrick who's in charge of OIPP (Overseas attachment) just called me and asked me to consider gg France as the project we'll (me n another girl) be doing there is somehow related to my course... Oh man... Haiz~ I'm somehow tired of all these...

Initially, I applied for Hong Kong with three other friends, Samantha, Alan and Eugene... One of the company peeps came down to S'pore to interview us and so during Aug we met up and I showed my portfolio and everything... This is considered as the external interview... We'll be having a second interview with some NYP big shots... This is considered as the internal interview and is the final interview before they start selecting peeps... Nearing to the 2nd interview which I'm soooooo soooo looking forward to, I received a call fr Mr Mark Lee (another lecturer in charge), he said that Samantha suddenly withdraw due to some family problems. I was quite shocked as the final interview is coming in a few days time. He was telling me not to waste my time to go for the final interview as Samantha has withdrawn and the company will not allow one girl to go alone. I was like... Huh... totally lost... Kinda angry but at the same was thinking no choice cuz anything might happen and is not Samantha's fault cuz she doesn't want it to happen to... Mr Lee also said act the company has approved the four of us alr... The company wants 2 guys n 2 girls, 4 peeps... Just nice the four of us... The more he said the more I felt wasted... But no choice, opportunities just slipped away like tt... Felt really disappointed and wasted... As I'm nt very close to Samantha, I dun wanna ask her wat happened as I don't wanna interfere much though at the same time feeling angry... Mark Lee also felt very wasted for me, when he debrief me he told me a story he experienced with his friends and the outcome really shocked me... Have learnt some morales from him... His advices are really worth thinking and is kinda true abt some facts in real life... Applying for this OIPP tingi really taught me a lot through many interviews mainly the process... In another way, now Mr Patrick is trying to help me by giving me another alternative which is France...

The matter is to go or not to go? The whole trip to France cost abt $4000(accommodation, air ticket, food & expenses included) for 3 mths + the expenses there is double the price of sing + halfway through my driving license + can't bare to leave S'pore (family&friends) + quite last min + sudden (might be leaving ard Oct if selected) + alr gone through 3 weeks of FYP...... So many things to consider, shd i?

Yest night went for driving @ 8.50pm... Whoo it's been so long since I last drive n this is the first time I'm driving in the night!!! Dunno why I was so tensed up... Probably too long nv drive n scared I've forgotten some things... Hahaa... The instructor was super funny which made me feel relax after sometime... He knows I'm very tensed up so he tried to make me feel comfortable n kept asking me to relax... I'm like smiling throughout the whole lesson... Hahaa... He even asked: "Why are you so tensed? Is it because aft seeing such a big size guy (cuz he's kinda big in size) or you too long never drive?" But overall it was a great lesson, learnt a lot from him... Diff instructors teach differently and fr there gather all the advices and learn fr there... Great! :) Time passes really fast, just before I knew it the lesson have come to an end... I'm gonna chiong my driving agn every other day fr nw on... Is good making myself busy maybe tire myself so that I will nt think so much...

Dunno for wat reason maybe because seeing a friend cry and I just felt like crying with her or maybe abt some other stuffs recently... Met up with doreen ard early evening, shop ard town a lil... Accompanied her to John Lil to get her handbag... Cool~ she bought and took it... We then head on to Far East, wanted to trim eyebrow but e shop was nt open so I did express mani as I thought my hands was rather bare. Doreen felt tempted and we did together! Though wanted to save up n do on my own but just couldn't find time... Always felt so tired aft FYP... $9.90 express mani, fast n cheap one :) And as I predicted, I somehow destroyed my mani... Bren then met us, hav dinner at Long John's Silver... Aft which is off to meet Doreen's classmates @ Orchard stn to Zouk Phuture! Thought was a lot of ppl but a few peeps bang seh so is only Jian An and Ridz... Xin last min couldn't make it cuz her sis fell ill so din meet up. Hope her sis recovers soon~ We were early at Phuture reached ard 9 plus... Got in at just 12 bucks with 2 drinks... Cool~ tt's quite cheap compared to the other clubs I went nt saying DXO on Fridays which is free throughout for ladies! Maybe is still early I guess... Managed to get seats cuz nt much peeps then chatted, drank, laugh and of cuz taking pics! Met Daniel n his friends there... Was rather coincidence... Bren's feelings came back...??? Just knew tt she kept smiling throughout :) Nt much dancing or I would say never cuz the music is trance... Prefer R&B which is only on Wed & Fridays... Though no R&B but it was fun with lots of laughing! Enjoyed myself... Drink, drink, drink... 1 volka lime, 2 tequila pop... never enough + sipping from Doreen's drink-Johnny Walker n some urban male tingi... Thought of changing to MOS or Butter Factory for some R&B n dancing but Bren gt to leave early so nt very worth it for her... Just finish watching Wuri's family... It was so sad though I watched on n off but some parts just made me tear agn... I can feel for Taixi cuz I've been through though e situation is abit diff but Wuri is really a super nice guy~ Was touched by the words he said... Yest met up with sis after her work and aft my FYP to town to get Dad's present! Bought Havannias for him which we alr thought of it quite some time back... Went Sakae Sushi for dinner @ HMV instead, though Sis prefer Sushi Tei much more, we were lazy n too hungry to walk to e nearest Sushi Tei moreover sis say there's always lots of peeps n sure hav to be on the waiting list... The moment we sat down, I start taking n sis started ordering, we were super full... Just nw even thought of having desserts like Crepes or Waffle with ice cream at Village (previously Marche) after our meal... But we were too full to squeeze any more food... After which, we went window shop ard and I managed to rush back to catch my Jin Shan Shun!~

Today Ester and I wore the same color top agn!!! WHITE! Hahaaa... We din plan to do so~ Were thinking maybe we have some telepathy tt we know wat color each of us will wear each day...
